Villains Overview

AVENGE ME, BROTHER!!!!!!
(The giant furry pulls his balls out of his green briefs.)
NOOOOOOOOOO!!! AVENGE ME!!!!!!
~ A Black Templar marine’s final words before he was penetrated by the balls of a giant furry.

The Black Templars are the main protagonists (and the main villainous in the 2nd episode, Sonic gets cucked) of the adult science-fiction comedy animated webseries The Furry Crusades, created by the animator duo Flashgitz.

They are based on the incarnation of a sub-battalion of Space Marines of the same name that appeared in Warhammer 40,000 and sought to exterminate all Furries by sheer violence (especially the world of Sonic). They are also responsible for the destruction of FurryWorld, the Furries' homeworld and seeking to exterminate any surviving Furries by protecting the universe and also creating clothes from it’s ruins for no reason.

However, the fact that the Black Templars are massacring the Furries is the reason they want to save and protect the Universe from an invasion of furries that are proliferating from galaxy to galaxy from FurryWorld, which leads their goal to drive the Furry people to extinction, although the Furries are initially not very antagonistic by nature until Collection 1’s second half.

They are all voiced by the Animators themselves, Thomas "Tom" Edgar Hinchliffe and Donalds "Don" Jeremy Greger (collectively known as Flashgitz) who also voiced the Furries, the main antagonists of the series.

Known Members[]

  • Pulchra Investigation Squadron: A squadron of various Black Templar marines sent to investigate what happened to the planet of Pulchra, all of them except for one have died by the end of the investigation. (deceased, Bravecto killed by a giant flea, Virbac fell into a forest, Polder was first melted by a semen-like liquid, then given the Emperor’s peace, and Castem, Veloxa, Bayer, and Ivermectin fell into a bottomless pit)
  • Brother Azron: A Black Templar sent to the Death World of Oceana to get rid of the Furries hiding in Bluey’s house (Reddy in the Safe for Australia version of House of a Thousand Furries), eventually killing the Heelers once he concludes them to be psyker mutants.
  • Wandering Marine: A lone Black Templar marine left to wander the ruins of a Lupus Mortem-infested ship, eventually being corrupted himself in the ending after fighting a corrupted Black Templar marine.

Trivia[]

  • Despite their hostile nature, they actually are more of an Anti-Hero since while they do try to exterminate every furry they see to prevent the corruption of the galaxy, they also have the tendency to kill any anthropomorphic animal in the way, whether they mistake them for their arch-enemies or if they conclude that they’re a heritic.
  • Although the Black Templars are mainly known for slaughtering Furries to extinction to prevent mass corruption, it is also implied that they are doing this to prevent other sources that are capable of causing the Lupus Mortem corruption if their research on Lola Bunny in the episode The Furry Disease is any indication.
  • In conclusion of the first episode, FURRY APOCALYPSE, the "Indomitable Fury" begins to purge the planet of FurryWorld via Exterminatus, it is later shown that they’re using the ruins of said planet in order to make clothing out of the surviving furries they found.
