The Black Widow is the secondary antagonist of the 2025 fanfilm Jurassic Phobia: Web of Terror.
She is the creepy, murderous and sadistic ruler of Isla Scorpia's haunted house, mostly operating inside it by herself since she loves killing her spider husbands. She is the second arch-nemesis of Seth Mason and Lara Hellsmith, as well as an enemy of their baby raptor pet Loki. She works with the other spider leaders closely, and like the others, she wants the spiders to one day dominate the universe instead of humans. In fact, this Black Widow is arguably considered as the most venomous of them all.
History[]
The Black Widow spider was created under the orders of the merciless Byosin chief scientist Harry Houser. Due to the nature of all spiders, under the leadership of The Golden Orb Weaver, the spiders conquered the island of Isla Scorpia, killing all dinosaurs on it with brutal methods. The Black Widow took control of an entire house, which later became a haunted house due to its terror and neglect. The spider is mostly seen operating alone as the boss of the haunted house, as it is such an aggressive ruler that she doesn't have any friends, and she most likely killed all of her minions, since she has no visible army.
The Widow awaits for the arrival of Seth Mason and Lara Hellsmith after they've entered the island in order to stop all spiders from invading humanity and conquering the world.
The Widow at first either hides or camouflages in a mysterious way, while following Seth and Lara as soon as they've both entered the haunted house itself. While thunder and lightning were dominating the sky, the spider ambushed Lara and took her from behind with pleasure of hurting her and Seth. She takes Lara as a hostage and places her inside a specific room in the same house, on purpose so Seth will follow them as part of The Widow's death trap.
When Seth finds the widow spider with his beloved girlfriend Lara, the sinister spider tries to bounce onto Seth's head, but she is injected by Seth's venom which could poison the widow herself. The Widow then falls to her death.
Personality[]
The Black Widow is the most venomous of all spiders, and she is just as sadistic as her leader, taking a high rank from The Golden Orb Weaver, becoming it's third in command after conquering Isla Scorpia. This means the widow spider is highly powerful, and this power makes her dangerous. She took pleasure while killing it's enemies and prey, as shown when she "played with her food" when attacking Lara and then also Seth. She makes things very personal, and she has a strong sense of vengeance. The Black Widow is also bad to others of her kind, most likely killing her army entirely for dominance or at the very least a perfect meal.
Trivia[]
- The Black Widow is based on Dracula in this movie, as she enjoys sucking human blood and she is very creepy. She lives in a haunted house and hunts for prey, just like Dracula from the legends does.
- According to the creator of the Jurassic Park fanfilms of this storyline, The Black Widow is able to camouflage and almost become invisible cause he has Chameleon genes.
- Despite the Black Widow not being seen when killing it's followers, one could be sure she did it since she's got no army despite the fact the human team mentioned the tarantula is the only one who doesn't have any minions.
