Some call me “the looking guy”, others “the stalker”, and others “The Spot from across the spider-verse” but I go by the name “Blank Slate.” I was created by the massive influx of psychokinetic energy, allowing me to gain a physical vessel. After that, I decided to monitor this city to see if chaos would be unleashed. It’s been constantly happening and has not aligned with my vision. So in retaliation, I have decided to make something that can balance this messy world of insanity.
~ Blank Slate's first words in the series.

Blank Slate is one of the two overarching antagonists (alongside Flippy) of The Dogman Show.

They are an enigmatic physical vessel of a recent influx in psychokinesis who's main goal is to maintain the chaos in Okhay Ville. Throughout the series, he has made multiple attempts to do so, such as creating namgoD and creating an army of knights that have Chief become the king of Okhay Ville.

Biography[]

Creation[]

While not much is known about their creation, it is known that they were created after a large influx of psychokinetic energy came through Okhay Ville. The energy was turned into the physical vessel of Blank Slate, who had powers that could shape and change reality itself.

Spying on Dogman and his friends[]

Over the course of a few episodes, the Blank Slate would be watching Dogman and his friends, as they were the main cause of chaos throughout the city, constantly helping defeat the villain of the episode whenever required, such as destroying the Monster Plant or teleporting Martin the Genie away from Petey. During this time, the Okhay Ville News Station, particularly Victor, would attempt to catch the Blank Slate to figure out where they came from and what they did, albeit always failing whenever that happened.

Creating namgoD[]

After spying on Dogman and others, the Blank Slate figured out that Dogman was the main cause of the chaos throughout the city. Due to this, the Blank Slate would attempt to kill Dogman by turning a statue of Dogman alive, creating namgoD. namgoD, however, would go against the Blank Slate's orders and cause further chaos onto the city instead of fixing it, annoying the Blank Slate.

Working with Petey[]

After multiple chaotic events happen, the Blank Slate decides that, in order to meet their goal, would have to merge the main universe with the universe they called the "Knightmare" universe. However, it and the main universe would have to be identical, so the Blank Slate goes and finds Petey, to which they reveal their plan and tells Petey that he would have to kill the main universe's Dogman and the "Knightmare" universe's Gridley Knight and his children. Petey agrees to the role and leaves to go do so.

Fighting Victor[]

As Petey is going out to kill Grid and his family, the Blank Slate goes out to kill Dogman and finds him horseback riding with Chief. In an attempt to kill him, they turn the horses into evil zebras. However, when the zebras collect nuclear powers and fail to kill Dogman and Chief, the Blank Slate goes back to Petey's Secret Lab. Later, Victor runs away from a mind-controlled army created by the zebras and goes into the lab, coming face-to-face with the Blank Slate. The two of them then go into a huge fight that severely injure both of them. Afterward, one of the zebras use their powers to try and mind control everyone in Okhay Ville, yet they fail to mind control the Blank Slate, who, in anger at them trying to take over their mind, has them choke on oxygen. They then teleport back to Petey's Secret Lab, where they open a portal from the "Knightmare" universe, revealing that Petey had successfully killed Grid and his family.

Helping Petey become mayor[]

Not too long afterwards, it would be revealed that Blank Slate has just short amount of psychokintetic powers in order to merge both the main and "Knightmare" universes together. However, when the mayor's term ends up being revealed to end soon, Petey uses the opportunity to run for mayor, having Blank Slate be his campaign manager, going undercover as "Blake Slattery." After many chaotic days of them rigging the system and yet another fight with Victor, on election day, it would be revealed that Petey ended up winning the elections and was elected mayor of Okhay Ville.

Impersonating the dead[]

In order to test if Petey was really willing to do anything to accomplish his goals, Blank Slate would claim that Paraguay didn't exist. Petey would make a fake case for A.R.F.G.U.S to work on while they try to nuke Paraguay. However, A.R.F.G.U.S would realize that the case was a hoax. Petey (In desperation for Dogman and Co to not find out about the nuking plan), would make Blank Slate pretend to be Officer Knight as part of a fake revive machine. Blank Slate would hangout with the crew for a bit, before returning with Petey and warning him about a evil entity. They would seek salvation in a room that had the button to nuke Paraguay. Blank Slate would make Petey push the button otherwise he would die, due to Petey's detrimination in his goals. Petey explains to Blank Slate that he has fallen for tricks like that before, saying he had been fooled by someone once, and wouldn't be again. Blank Slate would be impressed by Petey's detrimination and how he stood up to him.

Personality[]

Due to the Blank Slate being an overall enigmatic character, their true personality is currently unknown. It is known, however, that they have an overall twisted view of the world and attempts to make it better by killing the people who are causing chaos to happen, despite all of them simply stopping the chaos instead. However, they also seem as a huge extremist, going to far lengths to make their goal, having no chaos throughout the multiverse, happen. This is further proved in the episode Rainbow Ruse, where he convinces Petey to go into another universe and kill an entire family just to merge it into the main universe. However, it is shown that Blank Slate really apperciates it when people stand up this him, especially when it's to his own plan. This is shown in World's Finest Activities as he is extremly impressed by Petey standing up to him.

Trivia[]

  • They are loosely based off Abel from The Amazing Digital Circus, as not only is the creator of the fanfiction a big fan of the series, the Blank Slate's first appearance is seemingly a parody of the Abel's first main appearance.
    • However, it should be noted that the Blank Slate was made before Episode 7 of Digital Circus came out, meaning that they are drastically different from Abel in the actual show.
    • His "Blake Slattery" design is also similar to Abel's design from Beach Episode, with both having poorly drawn smily faces.
