Blossom.EXE is the titular main antagonist of MUGENWarrior's BLOSSOM.EXE game. She is an EXE who invaded Townsville and possessed Blossom, using her as a vessel to destroy Townsville and rebuilt it as her empire.
Biography[]
It was a normal day in the City of Townsville, except monsters were destroying the city. Fortunately, Blossom flew to Townsville and started destroying the monsters to save the city. After she was done with fighting the monsters, however, something took her by surprise. It was a spirit that looked just like her. It rushed towards her, catching her and causing her to scream in agony.
After Blossom went missing, Bubbles and Buttercup decided to go search for her. The sun was setting, and Bubbles couldn't find Blossom anywhere. Unfortunately, she would soon encounter Princess Morbucks, a rich and spoiled Powerpuff-wannabe. The two began to fight, but when the battle ended, Blossom appeared behind Princess. When Princess turned around to face Blossom, she saw that she had black eyes with glowing red pupils, and she had a disturbing smile on her face. Princess stood there, confused and terrified, before Blossom used her ice breath to freeze her. She then picked up the frozen Princess and threw her to the ground, causing her to shatter into millions of pieces. Bubbles was horrified by what she just saw, but before she could get away, Blossom, now dubbed "Blossom.EXE", rushed towards her before everything went black.
Bubbles woke up in a forest at night, with blood raining form the sky. Although she was scared, she still flew through the forest. After a while, she heard a loud crunch and went to investigate. She soon came across Fuzzy Lumpkins, who had his head crushed by a large rock. Terrified for her life, Bubbles immediately started flying fast, and she was right to run for her life, as Blossom.EXE started chasing her across the forest, trying to shoot her down with her laser vision. Fortunately, Bubbles managed to escape from her possessed sister, but Blossom.EXE wasn't ready to stop there.
Buttercup was searching for Blossom and Bubbles, but on the way, she ran into several demonic monsters. She fought her way through them, killing as many as she can. After dealing with the monsters, Buttercup suspected that Mojo Jojo was behind Blossom's disappearance, so she flew towards Mojo's Lair and broke in. She found nothing in the lair, not even Mojo or his many creations and weapons. However, she found one thing on the floor. It was the Mayor's head. Buttercup stared at the bloody head with terror, but she soon got up and went further into Mojo's lair, now with her terror replaced with anger. She was ready to fight whoever kidnapped her sisters and killed the Mayor. Suddenly, Blossom.EXE appeared in front of Buttercup, catching her off-guard. The demon attempted to strike Buttercup, but she dodged the attack. The two began to fight, with Buttercup using many of her powers and fighting skills, and Blossom.EXE using her ice powers and her vessel's abilities. However, since Blossom was still Buttercup's sister, Buttercup tried to focus on snapping Blossom out of what she thought was mind-control. When the fight ended, Blossom.EXE retreated and teleported away. Buttercup was going to chase after her, but she still needed to find Bubbles, so she decided to find Bubbles first before chasing after her possessed sister.
Mojo Jojo was inside a museum after running away from his lair after Blossom.EXE attempted to kill him. Fortunately, he kept a big laser machine, just in case. Inside the museum, he didn't find anyone around, nor did he find any displays. After exploring the empty museum for a while, he found Blossom.EXE staring at him. In a panic, he shot her with his laser machine, she vanished before it could it her. Mojo was confused, but he then saw the darkness rushing towards him. He starting running away from it, trying to find an exit. On the way, he encountered clones of Blossom.EXE that blocked his way, and he shot them down. Soon, he found the exit, and quickly rushed out.
While Mojo Jojo was escaping the museum, Buttercup found Bubbles, and after a happy reunion, they went to find Blossom.EXE and save their possessed sister. Along the way, they found Mojo Jojo running out of the museum. The two made Mojo stop in his tracks. Seeing Mojo filled Buttercup with rage, and she started mercilessly beating him up, accusing him of turning Blossom into a monster. While getting brutally beaten up, Mojo shouted that it wasn't him who corrupted Blossom, as she tried to kill him. After that, Buttercup calmed down but not for long, as Blossom.EXE broke out of the museum, targeting Mojo without hesitation. Mojo used his laser machine to fight back and shoot the demonic Powerpuff girl. Soon, having no other choice, Bubbles and Buttercup decided to join the fight, taking advantage of Mojo fighting to weaken the demon controlling their sister, but were careful to not kill Blossom herself, and be made sure that Mojo doesn't hurt Blossom too much. After a while, Mojo was covered in cuts, wounds and scars, and Blossom.EXE finished him off by electrocuting him until he exploded in a pool of blood and guts. Bubbles and Buttercup were close enough to get sprayed with the blood. Bubbles screamed bloody murder and Buttercup's eyes were wide as she stared what just happened. Blossom.EXE then turned her attention to the two remaining Powerpuffs, and targeted them next.
Bubbles and Buttercup were caught in another fight, and without Blossom's strategic planning, they had to rely on their wits and reflexes. As the fight progressed, Blossom.EXE never gave them any time to form strategies of their own. They had to attack as fast and as brutally as they could. The whole fight was extremely difficult, and pain, combined with having no leader or proper plan, was driving Bubbles and Buttercup insane. Soon enough, all three Powerpuff Girls were on the brink of death, but before Bubbles and Buttercup could save Blossom from possession, the demonic creature faded away and retreated.
Having no way of knowing were the creature went, Bubbles and Buttercup flew off to recover from their injuries, mourning for their lost sister. Townsville was left in ruin, as there was no point in saving a completely destroyed place, and all of the citizens were dead.
Trivia[]
- She was inspired by many different takes on Blossom.EXE, as well as other PPG Creepypastas, like FrazzDude's Chemical X-Ecutor.
- The levels in her game resemble the levels from WarchieUnited's Powerpuff.EXE story, as well as other depictions of the levels that MUGENWarrrior found.
- The death scenes were inspired by DOSGeek95's M.U.G.E.N version of Blossom (DG Blossom), Mortal Kombat and Pretty Blood.
- Her razor-sharp arm blades are a reference to the PPG darkfic, Power Snuffed.
- MUGENWarrior wanted a more "ice-based" EXE, that's why there was little to no fire in the game.
- Like how Mario.EXE is associated with fire, Blossom.EXE is associated with ice.
