Blossom Utonium is a supporting character turned recurring antagonist of the Grizzly Empire myth arc and the secondary antagonist of The Variant Dynasty Part II as well as a willing accomplice to both the Dark Hand and Monarch.
History[]
She first appeared as a convert 2016 newcomer and is the sister of Bubbles and Buttercup. However, Mauro’s turn to darkness culminated in Bubbles being endangered leading to the girls mistakenly believing Zachary Delightful (the anti-heroic protagonist) is an evil scientist who created Mojo Jojo. It went from bad to worse due to the manipulations of both Shelby Forthright and Veronica Hill causing Blossom to turn to the dark side and become a member of the Dark Hand and one of Veronica Hill’s willing partners in the Dark Hand team and their own personal interests in controlling the world. Likewise, she ends up accusing Loud House survivor Lily Loud, dragon son Spike, hardened whale Hank and resurrected bird Woodstock of being accomplices to her Mojo Jojo conspiracy delusion. Afterwards, she captures country farm boy Cricket Green and a brainwashed lab rat who now thinks he is a cat and holds the two for ransom. After Tweety Velma’s reputation is irrevocably ruined, Blossom and the lab rat nearly got arrested but were fortunately spared. Prior to Cricket Green being revealed to be converging on Linden City and thinking Cricket was sent to military school, Blossom battles the lab rat now infamously known as Packrat. After a brief battle, Packrat defeats her with a gyro launcher toy and she leaves Homebase now an official physical villain. As she leaves Homebase, she is approached by Sebastian J. Cricket, an akumatized version of Make-Up Boy who had sold the Myles Bots out to Forthright in exchange for the restoration of his influencer status and being spared from the Dark Hand’s wrath and incrimination. Later, after she gets back at the Myles Bots and their friend for “killing” Tinkle and assaulting her with a gyro launcher by making Pinky think Alvin Seville is being institutionalized and enlisting the mouse as part of the Dark Hand and goes to seek revenge on the Myles Bots, Sebastian welcomes her. Blossom asks who he is, and Cricket replies that who he is doesn't matter as much as who he’s after, claiming that they have a lot in common on that front, referring to Tweety Velma and the Myles Bots. Convinced from the lake house trip that Tweety Velma is the main antagonist, having her desire to become physical ruined and having little choice in the matter, Blossom smirks evilly, and decides to join the Dark Hand in their grand scheme.
Appearance[]
She resembles her 2016 counterpart.
Personality[]
At first glance, she was as intelligent and sensible as her original counterpart. However, she gradually reveals herself to be an elitist and paranoid figure who is willing to foolishly believe the Dark Hand are a group of superheroes and outright kidnaps Cricket and Packrat intending to hold the two for ransom in exchange for the Time Wish coveted by the entire world.
