Blueberry is the deuteragonist and main villain of UnderswAAAp - also known as Team AAA Underswap - a parody fangame created by Team Switched. He became obsessed with a human named Chara ever since they saved him from being trapped, growing possessive over them and willing to kill anyone they got close to.
Appearance[]
Blueberry is a short skeleton with black eyes, blue irises and white, star-shaped pupils. He has a blue tongue, and almost always has blue blush marks. He wears A white shirt, blue shorts, a pair of blue gloves and matching pair of blue boots. He also wears a large blue bandanna around his neck, tied into a large bow in the back.
Biography[]
After falling into an unknown area underneath the Green Ruins and wandering around for a while, Chara finds Blueberry ensnared by several shadowy arms sprouting from the ground. The human frees him, and he thanks them before asking if they're lost. He introduces himself and says he knows how to get out of there, offering to guide them to repay them for saving him. From then on, he joins the player's party and begins following them around.
Blueberry begins to help with puzzles and traversing the area, and denies that he and Chara are a couple when a heart the two ride on to progress mistakes them for one, blushing. After opening up a doorway by feeding a sign several Numb Stones, the two come across a strange entity resembling Chara standing on the edge of a cliff. The entity transforms into an eldritch creature known as _ha_a, and the two must fight it off. After the battle, Blueberry tells Chara not to worry about it, saying he'll protect them, before commenting that the way out must be open now.
Once they get out, the two reach a bus stop, with Blueberry saying they'll have to take a bus to Spep City, as it's the only way back to the Green Ruins, adding that he hates the city because it's full of drunks and creeps. Once they arrive at Spep City, Blueberry says that the elevator leading back to the Green Ruins is to the north, and they begin to explore the city. Along the way, they meet a Spep wearing a blue jacket, who introduces themself as Sans the Spep, with Blueberry giving them a harsh look and remarking that he hates them more than usual, telling Chara that the two of them should go. Once they find the elevator, he realizes that since they aren't part of the high council, they can't use it, and suggests they ask around in case someone has a key card.
Upon asking a Spep near the exit of the Candy Hut, they'll tell the two that they can set them up with a meeting with the city's mayor Moyai if they bring a blue rose from the garbage, a can of ravioli and an O+ blood sample. After getting these three items, Blueberry is uneasy around Moyai and tells Chara to be careful as the mayor makes the human massage them with the ravioli. Afterwards they get a key card, and ride the elevator out of the city.
The two get to the Green Ruins, where they find Asgore's house. Asgore greets Chara and says hello to Blueberry, saying how nice it is that the human is making friends. Blueberry glares at him and tells Chara he doesn't trust him because he's acting like he's the human's father. After being invited in for pie and tea, he tells Chara to watch out, feeling like the boss monster is going to try something. Once inside, he acts rude and hostile towards Asgore, snapping at him when he says the pie will take a bit longer to bake. The goat monster then shows the two a room to rest in and asks Blueberry for his name, to which he introduces himself and tells him that only Chara can call him "Blue." Asgore then offers to show him a different room to rest in, explaining that the bed in the current room is too small for two people, which he begrudgingly accepts.
While exploring the house, Chara can find Blueberry sleeping in Asgore's room, muttering in his sleep about pie and blood. Upon waking him up, he's embarrassed that they heard him talking in his sleep and apologizes, and is then told that the pie is ready. The two go see Asgore in the living room, who comments on how long Blueberry has been sleeping and tells him that he got a guest room ready so he won't have to keep sleeping in the boss monster's room. He protests that he wants to share a room with Chara, and the older monster says he guesses they could just move the guest bed into the human's room.
As the three sit together at a table and eat pie, Asgore asks Blueberry how it is, accidentally calling him "Blue." He says that Chara is the only one who can call him that, and the goat monster apologizes, saying it just slipped out. As the boss monster tells the human to try some of the tea he's made, Blueberry says it's gross, and he responds that it isn't for everyone. He's upset when Chara says they like the tea, and excuses himself, saying he's going to his room and snapping at Asgore again when he asks if something's wrong. The older monster suggests Chara go check up on him, and they find him in the hall, facing the door to the guest bedroom. He asks them what they think of the boss monster, accusing him of faking his kindness and insisting that Chara can only trust him. He asks if they love him more than Asgore, growing desperate if they stay silent before concluding that they weren't saying anything because it's obvious they love him more. He then says he's going to check out his room, quickly going inside and locking the door. Chara then tells Asgore that everything is fine, and Blueberry is just stressed.
The next morning, Chara wakes up and leaves their room to see bloodstains all over the hallway floor. They find that the door to Asgore's room is gone, and upon entering they see Blueberry standing next to his dead body, covered in blood. He remarks that boss monster have a lot of blood, and irritably asks why he isn't turning to dust already. He then turns around to see Chara, and as Asgore turns to dust, says he's never seen someone cling to life for so long. He then apologizes to the human for the mess, claiming that Asgore had attacked him, and he had killed him in self-defense, adding that the boss monster had supposedly wanted to get between the two and keep Chara with him forever. He states that the two of them were made to be together since they saved him, asking why they look like they don't believe him. He then says it doesn't matter, because he'll make sure no one ever gets between them again, telling Chara to give him a hug.
Chara flees the room, and Blueberry chases after, moving around quickly and sporadically. If he touches the player, he'll immediately kill them, leading to a game over. Chara must avoid him while going to the living room and grabbing a key hidden amongst some gardening tools to unlock the door leading to the Green Ruins' exit. Once they do, they leave and lock the door behind them, with Blueberry asking and then demanding them to unlock it as they back away. He soon breaks down the door, and the player must hide behind a wall near the exit. He remarks that the human has been very quiet and asks why they're scared of him, saying there's no reason to be afraid. He then asks if they hate him because of what he did to Asgore, but assumes they would only be upset if they loved him more. He begins to cry as he asks if Chara ever loved him, and as they flee the Green Ruins, he begs them not to go.
