He wanted you to join him... So much... But he couldn’t make you... No matter what he did. My plan was to destroy you all... Then leave this place, with Golden and Marionette. They would’ve taken me. I just wanted to survive, I was afraid of dying... But I see now, that my road would have ended no matter how I put it. I wonder... Where will my soul go? Surely not to heaven... I only desire... My only desire... Is to find peace within myself...	„

Bonbon is a major antagonist in ShadowLL's Five Night's at Freddy's [sic] fanfic trilogy, serving as the final antagonist of Five Night's At Freddy's and a posthumous antagonist in The Horror Attraction.

He is the new replacement for Bonnie the Bunny that teamed up with Golden Freddy and the Puppet due to his fear of death. Gaining supernatural powers thanks to them, Bonbon helped the two kill all the other animatronics at Freddy Fazbear's Pizzeria for his own survival.

History[]

Five Night's At Freddy's[]

Bonbon was created in the year 1987, to serve as a replacement for the previous Bonnie animatronic. One day, he was confronted by Golden Freddy, who gave him the opportunity to join him and gain incredible power. Afraid of dying, Bonbon accepted it and was trained into gaining supernatural abilities at the cost of losing his soul, which became its own entity.

He first meets his predecessors alongside Mangle and Toy Freddy, and acted egotistically and mocked his predecessor, provoking the withered rabbit into attacking him. After ripping off his arm, he tells him to call him Bonbon to avoid confusion, and Toy Freddy tells the other animatronics to call him Fazbear for the same reasons. Fazbear tells the Withereds to back off and never leave the backstage if they don't want trouble, as they are outnumbered. Over the following week, the animatronics keep coming out to attack the guard, despite not remembering it. Freddy fears that it's because of Golden brainwashing them again. Golden then speaks to Foxy and tells him it's not his fault, and that something else is controlling them.

After being attacked by his friends, Foxy rushes out of the back room and explains everything to Fazbear, Bonbon and Mangle. The bear explains that he knows what is the evil that possessed the Withereds: The Puppet, who already possessed the Toys last week and made them attack the guard. Next night, Bonbon is "brainwashed" by the Puppet into attacking and mutilating Freddy, but Foxy stops him and throws him away. Later on, he goes on to talk to Mangle, and admits he took a liking to the old models for knowing a lot about the supernatural. He then goes to threaten Foxy so he won't harm Mangle.

Some time later, the Puppet once again brainwashes Bonbon and Bonnie into attacking. But this time, Golden saves Foxy just when he was about to be attacked. The Puppet's minions ultimately end up stronger than the few unbrainwashed heroes. After enough fighting, Bonbon deactivates, and soon the Puppet is stopped.

Eventually, the two Freddies reveal to the group that the new models are going to be scrapped. When Freddy tries to motivate his friends into fighting against Golden and the Puppet, Bonbon finally decides to drop the act and reveal his true nature. He turns pitch black with with glowing red eyes and gives all the animatronics half a minute to run before he kills them all. As he tries to kill Foxy, he's ambushed by several of the animatronics, but fights off them all. Eventually, Foxy learns how to teleport and uses it to fight Bonbon. The two teleport to a place where time doesn't exist, and briefly fight, with Foxy managing to deal the blow that sends them back to the real world, where he proceeds to give Bonbon a severe beating. In his dying motives, Bonbon reveals his motives and proclaims he simply wanted to find peace within himself, before finally dying. Foxy then proceeds to absorb his soul.

The Horror Attraction[]

Just two nights later, Bonnie would use Bonbon's broken parts to cause a fire that would burn down the entire building while he made his leave.

Thirty years later, in 2017, Foxy would be fatally injured by Bonnie. In his dying moments, he gave Mangle all of his souls, including the one of Bonbon he absorbed so many years ago. She uses their powers to defeat Bonnie in battle before using a lighter to set the titular horror attraction on fire. With her death, the souls of Bonbon and everyone else were all finally freed.

Trivia[]

Bonbon is the only antagonist who is completely unrelated to Mike Schmidt.
It's unknown if any of Bonbon's "brainwashings" were genuine or him pretending, and if they were the former, if he let the Puppet do it to him.
