Bondee the Farmer

Bondee the Farmer is the titular main antagonist of Bondee's Barnyard: Safety Violation and the mascot of the restaurant where the game takes place. After an incident at a birthday party in which Bondee is accidentally lit on fire, he and the rest of the crew (minus Kou the Cow) become hostile and hunt down the child who caused it, perceiving them to be a threat.

Like all the other characters, he's voiced by the game's creator Otis Le PoOtis.

Appearance[]

Bondee is an humanoid robotic puppet with a big pink nose and large ears. He wears a yellow long-sleeved shirt and green overalls with two large white buttons on the straps. He has black boots, white gloves, and a dark brown farmer's hat. Like almost all other animatronics, he has blocky teeth that wrap all the way around his bottom jaw and small, black pie-shaped pupils.

Biography[]

The puppets of Bondee's Barnyard were created with the ability to track down anything within the building via their security system and potent hearing. Their programming inhibits them from attacking adults, though the same can not be said for children.

One day, while a kid is having a birthday party at the restaurant, Bondee himself gives them a birthday cake and tells them to blow out the candles. When the child does though, the fire is blown onto Bondee, who quickly bursts into flames and is badly damaged. This event causes his plastic casing to get badly damaged, the kid runs away in terror. The child hides inside Kou, who's the only one programmed to protect children no matter what.

Bondee first activates at 3 AM, and can approach from both doors, cued by the sound of his distorted laughing. Closing the doors won't stop him, and instead the door's light must be held on him to drive him away.

Bondee also appears in the fourth between-hour intermission, where the event in which he was set on fire is shown. In it, he greets Chickling and gives them a birthday cake, only to catch on fire once more. His screams go from comedically cartoonish yelling to more realistic and panicked screams of pain as Chickling watches, horrified.

Trivia[]

Bondee, Mother and Geet are the only three robotic puppets whose bottom jaw is a separate piece from their torso in the game.
Him being driven away by the light is most likely because he became afraid of bright lights after the fire incident, as hinted at in his game over screen: "Some fear the sun when all they get is burned. Scare him off with the light."
There was a glitch where if Bondee was blocked from the doorway by another animatronic, he'd kill the player immediately upon arrival. This bug has since been patched.
Bondee is based on classic ventriloquist puppets, who often appear in media as villainous.
