~ Bendy talking about Boris |
Boris the Wolf is the titular main antagonist of the Random Encounters music video Bendy and the Wolf.
Bendy says that he is SillyVision's handyman. However, Boris acts more like a feral animal than a worker, he goes around growling and constantly tries to kill the Guest for no apparent reason.
He is a parody of the more heroic Boris The Wolf from the original Bendy franchise.
Appearance[]
Reminiscent of his original counterpart, Boris is a bipedal wolf who wears white overalls, gloves, and black shoes but is much larger and swole, with sharp teeth and claws, messed up fur and hair and a constant angry look.
Later on, his muzzle gets marked due to the rat bites and the fur on the top of his head gets ripped out due to the gears.
Biography[]
Background[]
It is impossible to determine Boris's past as there is no hint as to whether he was always a ferocious killer or was more like his original counterpart and eventually became a monster.
Bendy mentions how "he sounds terrible" and says that it could be a problem with his throat, which could indicate that Boris spoke normally in the past, however, Bendy is not trustworthy, as he often indicates that he knows more than he lets on, so it could be that he is just lying or making a joke.
Bendy and the Wolf[]
Soon after the lights turn on, Boris appears growling at Bendy, who just says that his throat is terrible and that he should go with them to find some medicine. Boris locks eyes with the Beard and already has the idea of killing him. Boris then heads with Bendy and The Beard toward the gift shot, trying to kill them along the way.
Throughout the song, Boris is the unfortunate victim of practically every line Bendy sings about (being attacked by numerous creatures, drugged by toxic gas, crushed, etc.) Bendy and The Beard finally arrive at the Gift Shop, but Boris manages to get there too and starts chasing The Beard and, at the end of his rope, makes a mess trying to get to him. The Beard tries to use the elevator to escape, but it doesn't work, Boris then jumps towards him, but he dodges at the last moment, causing the wolf to pass through the elevator door and fall into the deep elevator shaft, when Bendy says that Boris might be fine, the elevator plummets and falls right on top of him.
Personality[]
Being a ferocious monster, Boris doesn't have much of a personality, he is vicious, cruel, savage, and very, very persistent, even though he receives an immense amount of physical punishment he never gives up on his mission to kill The Beard.
However, he seems very happy and content when he climbs into the cart with Bendy, this doesn't even last five seconds and could very well be a facade, but perhaps it indicates that he's not that savage after all.
Trivia[]
- At the end of the song, Bendy confirms that he knows that all of his tour groups die during tours, and although there are many dangers in the studio, it is very possible that Boris is responsible for many of these deaths.
- The inspiration for Boris getting injured were Looney Tunes cartoons.
- There was a scrapped idea to slowly make Boris more like Brute Boris from the Bendy and the Ink Machine game.
- However, Boris's injuries did change his design a bit during the finished video.
