Boscha's mother is a supporting character in MoringMark webcomics based on Disney's Owl House television series.
After falling in love with a girl her mother did not approve of, she left her family and started a new life with her girlfriend. She later sought revenge on her older siblings after they stole the money left to her in their mother's will.
History[]
Decades before the events of the webcomics, Boscha's mother grew up in a wealthy family, and had been the favorite of her own mother. However, a rift grew between Boscha's mother and her family when she fell in love with a witch that her mother did not approve of, presumably due to said witch coming from a less-wealthy family.
The rift between them grew so strong that Boscha's mother ended leaving her family and starting a new life with her girlfriend, where they would presumably run a clothes store. Before she died, Boscha's grandmother saw the error of her ways, and she left Boscha's mother a fortune. Unfortunately, her siblings destroyed the will and took the fortune for themselves. Outraged, Boscha's mother forged a new will. She then proceeded to bribe the judge and burn down her sibling's businesses. According to Boscha, her mother's sibling's are still under her thumb in the present day.
Years later, she would have Boscha, and it's heavily implied that she verbally abused her daughter and forced her to be perfect, leading to her becoming a bully. In the weeks leading up to the Day of Unity, Boscha repeatedly tried to tell her parents about the Draining Spell and how Belos was going to kill all of witch kind, but Boscha's mother didn't believe her child. Later, during that Day of Unity, she realized that Boscha was right. When Boscha came to save her, Boscha's mother accepted that she would die and embraced her family. She didn't die, however, as the spell failed due to the Collector's interference. She and her wife would later be rescued by the CATS.
Trivia[]
- One of the Hexside students mentions that one of Boscha's parents is a demon. Presumably, this would be Boscha's mother due to her third eye. However, Boscha's mother appears to be a witch. It's possible that the student was simply wrong, or that some demons look like witches.
- In the show, Boscha's mother and her wife only appeared once in the flashback episode "Them's the Breaks, Kid," though it was unconfirmed if they were in a relationship.
