Boscha is the secondary antagonist of The Owl House and Cthulhu Mythos crossover fanfic The Gods Awaken.
She is a three-eyed half-witch and the archenemy of Willow Park. Desperate to have her vengeance on her, she becomes the servant of the Outer God and antagonist of the fanfic Nyarlathotep.
Biography[]
Before meeting Amity and subsequently becoming the leader of the Banshees, her mother had a relationship with a djinn thus making her a half-witch herself. However, her father disappeared one day, but Boscha did not fare any better due to developing genuine sociopathic traits from her father such as sticking nails into dolls to stave off her stress. She and her mother for the most part were poor and looked down upon due to the Social Darwinism practiced by the witches and demons of the Boiling Isles. When Odalia Blight forces Amity to "befriend" her, Boscha gradually molds her into being like her thus making her indirectly responsible for Amity's negative behavior up to and including her turning a blind eye at Boscha bullying her former friend Willow.
Gods Awaken[]
Despite winning her Grudgby match against Willow and her friends, Boscha's disgust for Willow only grew not helping that her clique of friends were starting to like and befriend her. This would climax in her violently trying to attack Willow at school only to end up breaking her leg ironically like how she did the same to her former friend.
Wrathful, Boscha leaves the school after being forced to report to Principal Bump's office. While walking through the woods, she meets Nyarlathotep in his satyr-like form. Sensing her desire for revenge, Nyarlathotep strikes a deal with her and ensures she sign her name in the Book of Azathoth. From there, Boscha helped him get magic to replenish himself by showing him the tree from which palismen are created, and he slaughters his way through the palismen and personally kills the Bat Queen herself.
When Luz, Eda, and King arrive when one of the Bat Queen's offspring managed to escape, Boscha briefly fights against Luz and nearly defeats her, but the magic that Nyarlathotep empowered her with was drained and her leg became injured again. Nyarlathotep flies away with her suggesting that she rest despite her refusal. He then goes to recruit Odalia and have her retrieve the Necronomicon on Earth.
After successfully reclaiming his lost power, Nyarlathotep arranges for the citizens of the Boiling Isles to be mass abducted and forced to watch Boscha's fight with Willow. He had also given her a greater portion of her power making her appear to resemble an anthropomorphic torch. Boscha grew increasingly enraged due to Willow seemingly not showing up and asks her master for permission to burn the audience to bide time. Nyarlathotep permits it and just as she was about to single out someone to incinerate first, Willow arrives. Boscha laughs at her for showing weak emotions like compassion and takes her position in the coliseum.
Willow is approached by Nyarlathotep who wages with her that if she were to refuse to fight his apprentice, he would resurrect the Titan body part by body part until all of the inhabitants on its body are either crushed to death or fall to their deaths.
Trivia[]
- Due to the story being written prior to the release of The Owl House's official Season 2 release, Boscha does not have her crab palisman due to all the palismen being driven to near extinction due to Nyarlathotep's hunger.
