The Boss, also known by his username Xx_BossMan_xX or professionally The Boss Shorts Wars, is one of the two main antagonists (along with Preston) of the Youtube Shorts ARG/webseries Shorts Wars. Serving as the overarching antagonist of Seasons 1, the main antagonist of Season 2 and one of the two main antagonists (alongside Dr. Francis Dave) of Season 3. He's the twin brother and (former) arch-nemesis of youtuber Jonny RaZeR as well as the leader of an evil organization called Clone VPN and wants to take over/destroy YouTube.
He is portrayed by RaZeR himself.
Appearance[]
He has a Black mask with Purple X's for eyes and a scratched mouth but looks blue through his camera he records on. he wears a Red and Black checkered suit with a black shirt, similar to Jonny RaZeR, in his shorts, he wears a red robe.
Unmasked, he wears an eyepatch on his left eye with a big red scar.
Personality[]
The Boss is a very controlling and authoritative person, wanting to take over YouTube Shorts to remake in his image. This comes from his hatred for YouTube Shorts, as he claims, seeing it as useless slop. He is also abrasive to anyone he looks down on, if it's his viewers or the creators that oppose him, seeking to change them, or destroy them if he can't do so.
He is also capable of strategic planning, coming up with multiple plans to complete his goal, and coercing a few creators and their viewers into joining him.
In actuality, he is motivated by envy of his brother, Jonny RaZeR, for living the life he wants while he was under Dr. F.D., even being implied to be under his control during the events of the ARG despite F.D. having died and ending up stuck inside Preston. While he operates under the desire to remake YouTube Shorts, all he truly wants is to overtake him and have his life.
He gives up his goals after talking with Jonny one on one and winning the court case, dropping his malice and hatred, even planning on finding new interests before dying to save him.
History[]
Background[]
According to Jonny RaZeR, The Boss was born alongside him at birth, only to, supposedly, be presumed dead and left behind. He was, in reality, kidnapping by Dr. Francis "F.D." Dave, who used the boss as a child slave for creating the cloning machine. At some point 12 years later, he reunites with Jonny on a field trip, but they split up afterwards.
According to THE LEGEND, he, along with the rest of Clone VPN, through unknown means, obtained a cloning machine made by a scientist, and planned on using it to take over all of YouTube to destroy it, and it's stated that doing so would have caused global catastrophe and the destruction of the Earth.
Season 1[]
He is first seen in an unlisted video that started the Shorts War, He sent a message to all the shorts creators, saying to stop making Shorts, other wise they would be "Replaced", and says they hold "The Key" and says this is the final warning.
He appears again on RoyalPear's Channel on an unlisted video called [TITLE NOT GENERATED], ClonePear was reacting to Danno Cals Drawings, The video in general was about why the color green was evil. Clonepear breaks character by saying he didn't do anything evil. The Boss says that he didn't listen and says 23rd marks the end of all Shorts Creators.
He is heard again on another unlisted video called facilityplayback.mp4 on Bundun's channel. He listens back through the audio from the facility when RoyalPear and Riggy escaped their cells. He realizes the USB stick Riggy throwed into a portal when he was with his Clone and ClonePear, went to RaZer, he said it always goes back to RaZeR.
In an Unlisted video called End_Credit_Scene.mp4 on RaZeR's channel, He asks for a status report from Riggy Clone who informs his boss that all of the creators have regained control, and Wendigo asks him what they're going to do now, the boss then goes on his monologue before putting his mask on to record a message, saying how a fool they were for messing with him and going on another monologue about how he was gonna defeat them again. He takes the mask off after his recording, he talks to himself as he puts on a flannel similar to Jonny RazeR's while wearing Jonny's regular black shirt underneath.
Season 2[]
After the Clone VPN facility is destroyed, The Boss has a meeting with the shareholders. After being berated for his failure, he kills all of them using poisonous gas and has them disposed of.
He creates a Youtube channel and a Discord Server and makes motivational videos to put viewers on his side and shorts reacting videos to gain views, these short reacting videos just put him pointing and not even talking at videos stolen by Cdotkom and Preston, its believed that the Boss is Cdotkom as on one of his shorts, Cdot shares the same flannel as the Boss and on another one we can see Cdot with the Boss's mask.
Season 3[]
He was called to court and was forced to testify on July 16, 2024. but been push back to July 21, 2024, giving the creators time to gather evidence. The state took his channel away for evidence. He would spend the entirety putting aside his differences with Jonny who managed to reach the truth of the boss as just being a tool for his real tormentor, “Dr Francis Dave” upon gathering the logs to clair the former’s name but RoyalProto played there video on court, The Boss would soon plan to be an actor in Disney land as a earth vader actor when Franchise was pointed out it be alive. He would later sacrificed himself when Clone Riggy arrived back at the room, having lost his stability and lunged at The Boss with a knife after the court case after saving Jonny’s life. In his final moments, the Boss asked The real Jonny to burn his Play button and gives him a piece of paper before thanking him for clearing of his innocents to be brought to life before succumbing to his injuries, In the end of the video his tombstone can be seen alongside Clone Riggy (his killer) around a field of grass as his mask lays on top of his grave that was marked “fly high”.

Trivia[]
- The Boss, at one point, contacted three of the most popular Shorts Wars theorists (Datchia, RedJet99, and Mello Productions) on Discord to figure out who is the "weakling" in his army. While Datchia refuse, RedJet and Mello accepted.
- The Boss had a Wikitubia page, despite that Jonny (his actor) already has one there. Though it has been replaced by The Rumble Pack's page given they took his channel after SW ended.
- The Boss has a strange resemblance to Hwang In-ho/The Front Man from the South Korean Netflix drama series Squid Game. So much so that, when the SG Season 2 teaser trailer came out, some SW fans jokingly referred to the Front Man as the Boss.
- It's unknown if the Boss even had a name, given that Dave kidnapped him after he was born, he probably wasn't given a name by his and Jonny's parents yet.
