King Bowser Koopa I, better known as Bowser, is the deuteragonist of dannywaving's "A Day with Bowser Jr." series.
He is the king of the Koopa Kingdom, adoptive father of the Koopalings and the biological father of Bowser Jr. He was thought to be the biological father of the Koopalings, but was later revealed to be their biological uncle, meaning Bowser Jr. is his only real son.
He was voiced by Daniel/dannywaving in The First Episode, Living with Nerdy, and Two Koopas for a Throne parts 1 and 2, and is currently voiced by Spikey Belmont, who also voiced Fawful, and Midbus in the same series.
Personality[]
Bowser started out strict, and mean. An example of this is when he burned Bowser Jr. for failing his test. He was also shown to be immature, telling Bowser Jr. to get a life. However, as the series progresses, he becomes more caring and compassionate, as he forgave Bowser Jr. for pushing the Turbo Button in "Living with Nerdy".
Biography[]
In the First Episode, after Bowser Jr. failed his test, he got very mad, and burned Bowser Jr. for it, as well as grounding him, and telling him his favorite son is now Roy. This caused Bowser Jr. to choose to leave the airship and live his own life. In "Living With Nerdy", after Ludwig beat Bowser Jr. up, thinking he's Mario (and also when he learned to was Junior), Bowser stopped Ludwig, and told him he had to teach Bowser Jr. something.
When Ludwig made an evil speech to Bowser Jr. about how he'll make him pay, only for Bowser to interrupt him. Bowser then taught Bowser Jr. how to fly the airship, and also tells him about the Turbo Button, warning him not to press it. Then, he gave Bowser Jr. a "demonstration" by invading the Mushroom Kingdom, and "kidnapping" Princess Peach. He then goes to spend some quality time with Peach, and tells Bowser Jr. to steer the airship. After the airship destroys Nerdy's house, and Larry says that he can live with them, he tells Bowser Jr. that he will burn him if he says anything about it. Then, when Bowser Jr., Nerdy, and Larry get inside, Bowser burns Bowser Jr. out of anger for pressing the turbo button, charing his body.
Later, when Bowser Jr. asks where Nerdy sleeps, Bowser tells him he'll be sleeping in his room (and his bed). He monitored Bowser Jr.'s room, making sure he didn't do anything to Nerdy. The next morning, after Nerdy told him that Bowser Jr. was a traitor to the Koopa Kingdom by being a supporter of Mario, he burned down the door, making Bowser Jr. so scared he peed himself. After Bowser Jr. told Bowser that it was Nerdy, and that he was the president of the Mario Fan Club, Nerdy presented a giant Bowser statue he built, so Bowser would trust him, only for Josh to pop out and blow his cover.
After all, the Mario Fan Club members popped out of the statue, they knocked Bowser against the wall, knocking him unconscious. After Bowser Jr. and Nerdy were falling to their deaths, Bowser flew the airship next to them, burned Nerdy, and punched him, causing him to fall faster. He then reached his hand out to Bowser Jr. to save him, redeeming himself.
