This is it, Mario. There's nothing you can do to stop me now. Your entire journey was pointless. You have three minutes to entertain me before your bodies are frozen forever.
~ Bowser.
At last... he has fallen. Now, Princess Peach, nothing can stand between me... and you.
~ Bowser after successfully turning everything to stone.

King Bowser Koopa, often referred to as just simply Bowser is the main antagonist of Goomzilla's Mario series. He is the tyrannical ruler of the Koopa Kingdom and Koopa Troop and Mario and Luigi's arch-rival. Much like his previous counterparts, he seeks to marry Princess Peach and take over the Mushroom Kingdom (and possibly the world). He is seemingly based mostly on his Paper Mario counterpart, just less comedic and less incompetent.

In general, he serves as the main antagonist of the main series and Mario's Quest, the titular main antagonist of Bowser and the Koopas' Staff, one of the two main antagonists (alongside Solus) of Luigi's Quest, a minor antagonist in Yoshi and the Lost Egg, and the deuteragonist of Peach's Quest.

He is voiced by Ian (Goomzilla).

Personality[]

Compared to his original counterpart, this version of Bowser is seemingly more serious and less incompetent. He seemingly had no problems with torturing the owner of the Dry Dry Inn to learn more about the Moon Generator that he would use to turn the entire world to stone, just so he could rule it. He also isn't as comedic, having very few comedic moments in the Quest series, but he does seem to be more comedic in Peach's Quest and in the main series.

He also will do anything to stop the Mario Bros. and marry Peach, even if it means he has to kidnap them. He is willing to kill Mario and Luigi most of the time and he even froze them into stone one time just so he could win. He does seem to care about Princess Peach, being seemingly in love with her and he seemingly will do anything to get to be with her. He seemed generally nice to her when they worked together to stop Mimi as well.

While he may seem mostly cruel, he is willing to help Mario and his allies on some occasions, like during Peach's Quest. He also does seem to generally care about his minions, even though he may be harsh to them at times. He also came for his Koopa Troopa after he had gotten beaten by Mario and Luigi in Mario's Quest. However, while he may seem generally nice to his minions, he can be harsh to them at times, given that he admitted to Peach that his minions would only impress him if they could capture Luigi in Luigi's Quest. There is also some implication that he sees them at times as just tools. He also was responsible for Solus' corruption, who was one of his minions.

He also seems to wish to use some of the power-ups Mario uses given that he tried to use a Mushroom in Bowser's Mushroom Factory. He also seemingly hates the idea of being small too, given his actions in Peach's Quest. As evil as he is, however, he does seem to have somewhat of remorse in Peach's Quest, given that he seemingly enjoyed working with Peach. However, despite this, he decided not to redeem himself.

Trivia[]

  • In the main series, Bowser doesn't talk mostly, but he does talk more in the videos that aren't in the main series.
  • So far, none of Bowser's children have yet to appear in the series.
  • Bowser is also probably the most recurring villain in the series, alongside his minions.
  • Up until Peach's Quest, Bowser seemed to be taken more seriously in the Quest series, despite having a few comedic moments.
  • Bowser seems to have a disliking for both Wario and Waluigi after the events of Mario's Quest, most likely due to the fact that they seemingly robbed him.
  • He is seemingly the only villain in his troop who can actually speak, alongside Kamek.
  • Even though Bowser may actually care about Peach, he did seem to have no problem with letting Goomfrey attacking her in Mario's Quest. However, he did apologize to her after doing this.
