King Bowser Koopa Sr., better known as just simply Bowser is the secondary antagonist of the 2006 flash animation series Super Mario Bros. Z.
He is the King of the Koopa Kingdom and leader of the Koopa Troop, obsessed with the idea of taking over the Mushroom Kingdom. Upon his arrival in the Mushroom Kingdom, Bowser would form an alliance with Dr. Eggman to finally take over the Mushroom Kingdom and gain the Chaos Emeralds. He is also the archenemy of Mario.
Much like his mainline counterpart, his voice clips were provided by Kenny James and Scott Burns.
Personality
Bowser is obsessed with the idea of taking control over the Mushroom Kingdom, constantly planning on taking it over and kidnapping the princess, presumably to only marry her by force. He by all means, hates the Mario Bros., hating them for mainly getting in his way so many times, and when he finally came close to killing the plumber, he seemingly felt satisfied. He was also completely willing to accept Eggman's offer of an alliance, just because of his goals of take over.
After being defeated by Mario once again, after Sonic and Shadow got involved, Bowser seemingly has a childish breakdown, as it is shown that he has spent days crying after his defeat.
Despite all of this, Bowser does seem to have some standards, as when Turbo Mecha Sonic destroyed Yoshi's Island, he was rather shocked.
Biography
Past
He is implied to be the son of King Bauzer who was left after the great Persian War which ended in World 36, a one way Pipe which trapped all the Koopas forces inside, leaving only the little Koopa to be picked up and raised by Kamek until he is ready to defeat the devendents of his late father’s enemies.
He soon became to be the eventual King of the Koopas. As he grew older, Bowser would become obsessed with the idea of taking over the Mushroom Kingdom by presumably marrying Princess Peach. He would make countless attempts to do so, only to be stopped by the Mario brothers every time. He promised himself that he would indeed kill the Mario Bros., regardless.
Present

Bowser as he appears in the original series.
When Mario & Luigi were racing against Wario & Waluigi in a kart race, Bowser arrives and bombs the racetrack. He comes to kidnap Princess Peach with Kamek, but before he can do so, Mario fights him.
After several minutes of fighting, Mario began beating Bowser, but before he could finally win, Kamek would soon summon a Metal Mushroom, and Bowser would eat it. He would soon transform into a metallic form and begin fighting Mario again, this time, being a little stronger. With his new metallic form, Bowser would prove that Mario's hammer and fire attacks were powerless against him, and he would begin to beat him harsh and brutally.
After finally taking the plumber down, Bowser gets read to finally kill Mario by burning him with his fire breath, but before he could, a pod came crashing down from the sky and hit him, destroying his metallic shell, returning to his original form. Mario would soon begin to beat the Koopa King again, until Kamek threatened to turn the Princess into a Goomba if he didn't leave Bowser alone. Bowser, seeing this as an opportunity, tried to kill Mario while blackmailed, until a blue hedgehog quickly took down Kamek. Frozen in a state of shock, the evil King of the Koopas would soon end up being defeated by Mario once again, being thrown out of the racetrack.
At some point, Bowser seemingly formed an alliance with a mysterious scientist and seemingly orders the Koopa Bros. to go find the Chaos Emeralds on Yoshi's Island, though they would later end up perishing on the island after it was destroyed by Turbo Mecha Sonic. They would build an enhanced Doomship & robotic copy of Mario, only to soon then invade the Mushroom Kingdom, capturing the princess. Bowser would be last seen ordering his minions and Basilisx to go stop Team Mario and watch over them with the Princess. Though it is unknown what happened to Bowser, it's most likely that he was defeated once again.
Trivia
- Due to appearing in six episodes of the original series, Bowser is the second most reoccurring antagonist in the original series, falling right behind Turbo Mecha Sonic.
- Bowser's sprites change frequently throughout the entire series: in the first two episodes, his sprites were used from Mario & Luigi: Superstar Saga, while in his later appearances, his sprites would be used from Super Princess Peach. In the reboot series, his sprites are primarily used from Mario & Luigi: Bowser's Inside Story.
- As indirectly mentioned during the seventh episode which Bowser had an Ancestor named Bauzire who was the original leader of the Koopas during the third Persian war while fighting Queen Pesca VIII (Peach’s ancestor) who fought over the Minus world (formerly named World 36 by Bauzier) which the Koopa army and Bauzier were trapped and killed, only leaving his offspring to escape, which would implied to be Bowser to challenge his enemy’s descendants.
