King Bowser Koopa Sr., better known as just simply Bowser is a major antagonist in the 2015 reboot of flash animation series Super Mario Bros. Z, serving as one of the two secondary antagonists (alongside Dr. Eggman) of the current Metallix Saga.
He is the King of the Koopa Kingdom and leader of the Koopa Troop, obsessed with they idea of taking over the Mushroom Kingdom. Upon his arrival in the Mushroom Kingdom, Bowser would form an alliance with Dr. Eggman to finally take over the Mushroom Kingdom and gain the Chaos Emeralds. He is also the archenemy of Mario.
Much like his mainline counterpart, his voice clips were provided by Kenny James.
Biography[]

During the Mushroom Kingdom's first Smash Tournament, Bowser and Kamek would arrive and bomb the stadium and confronted both Mario and Luigi. After revealing he was there to kidnap the princess once again and that he wants to finally defeat Mario after training intensely, he fights Mario in a intense and brutal fight, ending with Bowser being seemingly knocked down. However, this was exactly what he was intending on.
Kamek would then summon a Metal Mushroom that Bowser would then quickly consume, gaining a stronger, metallic form. Bowser would soon begin to beat up Mario, making him seem nearly powerless, regardless of what he would do.
Right before Bowser could kill both Mario and his younger brother, Luigi, a capsule crashed right on top of Bowser, destroying his metallic form, and now, a recovered Mario would soon take advantage over the fight and begin to beat Bowser once again, but before he could deliever the final blow, Kamek took Princess Peach hostage, threatening to turn her into a Goomba if Mario didn't let the Koopa King go. Before anything could happen, however, a blue hedgehog came and took down Kamek, allowing Mario to finally beat Bowser and throw him out of the arena.
Injured badly, Bowser returned to his castle and was treated for his injuries, though he was rather furious that he still lost to Mario after months of training. However, a scientist would soon meet with Bowser and his son inside of the castle. He would introduce himself as Dr. Ivo Robotnik, but he preferred to be called "Eggman".
Eggman would offer an alliance with Bowser, asking to help him collect the Chaos Emeralds that possessed great power, and that he would help him take over the Mushroom Kingdom with his inventions in return. Accepting Eggman's offer, Bowser would soon order the Koopa Bros. to go find the Chaos Emeralds for him, and not let Mario get his hands on them.
