Bowser is the main antagonist of the arcade storyboard contained within the M.U.G.E.N. character Mario by ShinRyoga & NeOaNkH. Like his canon counterpart, he is the King of the Koopa race and the arch-enemy of Mario.
History[]
The story begins with Mario preparing to eat a slice of cake, only to be interrupted by Toad, who informs him that the Mushroom Kingdom is under attack by people who are beating up the citizens of the Mushroom Kingdom and that they act like they are under a spell. Mario then states that Bowser must be behind this and he'll put a stop to his mischief for good before going off to fight.
Bowser is then seen in his castle being beaten by Mario, Bowser then states that he wins and that he finally found a way to beat him. Bowser then states that Kamek put a spell on all his possessed minions. Everytime Mario defeated one of them, his body absorbed the darkness within them. Bowser then states that Mario will never be called "Hero" again. Bowser, confused, calls Mario's name out twice, only for the possessed Mario to unleash a fire beam that kills Bowser and destroys his castle.
Mario then goes on to destroy the Mushroom Kingdom, with it being heavily implied that he caused the deaths of everyone in the Mushroom Kingdom except Peach and Toad. When Peach tries to talk Mario out of his possessed state, Mario is unable to recognize them and proceeds to kill them both, destroying the castle alongside them.
The end of the arcade mode reveals that this was all a bad dream and that everyone is okay.
