Bowser Mada Faca, simply known as Bowser is the main antagonist (alongside Soul) of the TheMarioDimension's YouTube series Dúper Mario Bros. He is the King of Koopas and Mario's archenemy.

Biography[]

Background[]

In the past, just like in the original Mario saga, in the TheMarioDimension timeline Bowser constantly kidnapped Peach and Mario rescued her. It's also mentioned that Bowser was defeated by Mario at least 30 times in the same way as some Mario games.

At some point a few days before Episode 4 (presumably before the events of Episode 1), Bowser steals the Sacred Wand from sage Washatumorra and started absorbing its power.

Episode 1[]

Bowser is in a roof ready to have a fight with Mario, but they are quickly interrupted by Koopa, who starts his radio to hear some music. Bowser orders him to turn off the music, but when he focuses again in Mario, he realizes Mario isn't there anymore. Mario appears in a high ground and kicks Bowser off the roof.

While he was unconscious, Koopa plays some funeral music, but Bowser gets up and repeats him to turn off the music. He then watches someone using a red cap and punches him, but then he realizes it was just Winnie the Pooh, who runs in terror (a common gag from then on). Koopa puts a fail music once more and Bowser kicks him in anger, repeating him once more to shut up.

Ten minutes later, he is saying to himself that he will one day defeat Mario. In that moment, a voice sounds inside his head and identifies itself as Your Conscience. After succesfully guessing the number Bowser was thinking, his Conscience tells him that to defeat Mario, he must kidnap Princess Peach as a bait, ordering him to go immediatly for her.

Once in Peach's castle, he wears the red cap he found earlier in order to pretend to be Mario despite his own's Conscience laughs. Toad opens the door being fooled by the disguise and goes for Peach. When Peach arrives, Bowser unmasks himself as Bowser and laughs, but a Mushroom Kingdom inhabitant says We're trying to sleep! Shut up! (a recurrent gag in the series) and throws a shoe at him. Bowser screams in anger, but quickly recovers and kidnaps Peach.

Later, he infiltrates in Mario's favorite program while he was listening to it and tells him that he had just kidnapped Peach and he laughingly challenges him to go look for her in his castle. Mario decides to accept the challenge.

Episode 2[]

As Mario and Luigi make their way to Bowser's castle, he sends them a message that says I see that you've decided to come for your little princess. You'll never make it. By the way, I send you a little gift. This gift was in fact Koopa, but he is quickly defeated by Mario using his own bomb.

Later, after Mario and Luigi cross the Tunnel of Fear and arrive to Bowser's castle, him, disguised once again as Mario, tells him that he is his father, but this time Mario doesn't get fooled by the trick. Bowser is shocked that Mario didn't fell, but he quickly recovers and tells them that they will never get Peach back.

Episode 3[]

Once inside the castle, Bowser arrives with Paragoomba and asks him if Mario and Luigi are already inside, to which Paragoomba responds negatively. Bowser seems confused, as they were just outside, but then Luigi screams, challenging Bowser. Bowser hears that and he quickly orders to close the gates and activate the traps.

After a while, Mario, Luigi and LegoBob arrive to the spot where Peach was presumably held prisoner, but it was Toad who was kidnapped instead and he tells them that Peach was in another castle.

Episode 4[]

When the group gets out of the castle, Bowser corners them and uses the Sacred Wand to make Mario small, to destroy LegoBob and to leave Luigi unconscious, which caused Toad to run in terror. Bowser leaves mocking them. However, the group recovers a short time later and Toad sugests them to go visit the sage Washatumorra to see if he knows a way to stop Bowser.

The sage Washatumorra informs the group about the Sacred Wand, its abilities and how it was just stolen by Bowser a few days ago, telling them that in a short time, he was going to absorb all the power in the Sacred Wand and become almost invincible. When Mario asks Washatumorra in how much time he was going to do that, Washatumorra stares at a hourglass and says In zero seconds.

At that moment, Bowser finishes absorbing the power in the Sacred Wand and bursts into laughter, destroying the wand an saying he doesn't need it anymore. At that moment, Winnie the Pooh passes by and screams in terror when he sees Bowser. Trying his new powers, he launches an attack towards Winnie the Pooh, killing him, while he leaves the scene, still in laughter.

Episode 5[]

After the sage Washatumorra talks the group about a hope to defeat Bowser, being these the Sacred Balls, he tells them the first one is in Peach's castle. While going there, Mario recieves a message from Bowser that says: Mua ha ha ha, you've already gave up? It wasn't you were Super Mario? Hahahahaha xD. Hatefully: Bowser :P.

After Mario and the group (except for Toad who stays in the car) arrive to Peach's castle, they find the massaacre Bowser left behind. The Sacred Wand destroyed, Winnie the Pooh's body and a message in the wall written with blood that says Bowser was here. Mario uses a green mushroom to revive Winnie the Pooh and they enter to the castle.

Episode 7[]

Bowser is playing the piano when the King arrives and turns off the piano to tell Bowser to give his daughter back and to leave the castle. After Bowser refuses to both of them, the King calls his guard and orders him to take Bowser out, but Bowser pushes him off the window and throws a Bob-Omb at him. The King pleads Bowser not to kill him, but Bowser tells him he won't hurt him, but wants the castle instead. The King refuses, but after a dirty trick Bowser wins the castle. The King tries to complain, but Bowser pushes him off the window as well and takes his crown.

After that, Bowser goes to a balcony and announces the Mushroom Kingdom that he will be the new king. However, the We're trying to sleep! Shut up! inhabitant attacks again, throwing a ball at him. However, this time, Bowser takes out a gun and shoots at him, wishing him to rest in peace and laughing evilly.

Bowser goes to Pepe's tacos and enjoys them, saying they're the most delicious in the world. However, he is interrupted by some juvenile delinquents who are manipulating a customer's burrito. Bowser then does a quick review on his To-Do list and realizes his next activity is to fire Koopa. When Pepe arrives to Bowser's table and gives him the bill, Bowser angrily responds that he wasn't going to pay him. Pepe tries to call de cops, but at that moment, Bowser neutralizes him. Bowser then approaches him and says he will let him live because he makes the best tacos and leaves.

When he arrives to the castle, he lies in his bed for a while. Kamek arrives and asks Bowser how was his day. Bowser briefly explains him and then tells him to go get Koopa, whick Kamek does. While he waits, Bowser fell asleep. He had a nightmare where there was Mario who was directly looking at him followed by strange sequences of a Sacred Ball, Mario using a sword and Mario opening a chest before slowly looking directly to his eyes and saying in Koopa's voice: King Bowser? Bowser wakes up and realizes it was all a dream and that Koopa is here. He tells Koopa that he fires him for not defeating Mario after all his clashes. Protesting, Koopa tells him that he hadn't done it by his own abilities either, reviewing 30 past defeats. Bowser changes the topic to the fact that he's still firing him, but then Koopa tells him about the last information he got from the group after his last espionage. He tells him about the Sacred Balls, that Bowser had forgotten, and that they already have one and the sage Washatumorra has the last one. Bowser reconsiders firing him and tells him to convocate the Koopa Army instead.

When the Koopa Army arrives, Bowser briefly explains them how the group has already get one of the Sacred Balls and encommends them to go with Washatumorra and take the Sacred Ball he has and bringing it before Bowser and encommends Koopa to go prevent Mario from getting the rest of Sacred Balls. Kamek asks where is Washatumorra, which Bowser responds with Far, far away. When he asks if there are questions, Paragoomba screams excited Shreeek! Bowser pulls him out of the window, though doesn't get him killed. He asks once more if there are questions, but this time there's only silence. He quickly reviews the plan and then says to himself You won't win this time, Mario. Not this time...

Episode 9[]

Completely unaware of what's happening with Mario and Soul, Bowser is checking Facebook while listening and singing to music when he decides to see how's Koopa doing. He calls him and asks if he stopped Mario and the rest already, but Koopa tells him he is still in the castle. Specifically in the laundry room. Bowser goes and checks there before returning to his room and angrily complaining about him not having left yet. He then decides to hang up and go directly with Koopa to ask him why he hadn't left yet. Koopa explains that he was building a radar to help him find Mario quicker. Bowser approves the idea and decides to try it to see if it works. He activates it and the radar detects its target to be very close, but when Bowser goes to the spot (a trash can), he takes a sock instead. Koopa says it still needs some settings and Bowser leaves quietly. Koopa's phone sounds again and Bowser screams him to hurry up as Mario must have the advantage by now.

Episode 10[]

Bowser sees himself in a strange and desert place unknowin by him (this place is in fact the Sacred Temple). He asks himself where he is and the echo sounds through the place, but he gets no answer. He starts hearing creepy noises like silent roars and feels observated, but he doesn't see anyone. But he is being observated by an unknown creature that runs straight towards him. Bowser then wakes up gasping and breathing heavily, realizing it was just a dream.

While still thinking in the nightmare he just had, he recieves a call, and when he answers the phone, he realizes it was the sage Washatumorra, who was calling to tell him that he had defeated his Koopa Army and was going to send them back by Estafeta. Washatumorra hangs up, not before reminding him he knew almost everything when Bowser asked him how he knew his phone number. Bowser considers extending the training journey when he decides to call Koopa to see if he already stopped Mario and the rest, but when he calls, a terrified Koopa answers the phone and says he couldn't stop Mario as he was crazy and tried to kill him. Bowser seems confused and Koopa describes Mario's enormous mouth and black eyes. He describes him as a monster. Bowser tells Koopa he can't trust his troops anymore and that he will go himself to stop Mario, but when he asks Koopa for his location, Koopa refuses, telling him that Mario will harm him. Bowser tells him that it's impossible, since he is the coolest in the world, but a mocking voice somewhere starts to laugh. Bowser ignores that and tells Koopa that if he doesn't tell him where he is, he will fire him. Koopa reacts and starts giving Bowser detailed instructions of where to find him.

When he gets the proper information to get to the Denson Hotel, where Mario and Koopa were, he hangs up and then the voice starts mocking him again. Bowser recognizes the voice as his Conscience and complains about him not talking to him in so much time. His Conscience tells him it isn't his obligation to talk to him always and reminds him he was just going to do something. Bowser agrees and gets up his bed.

Once in the hotel, Koopa tells Bowser that he shouldn't have come. Bowser asks Koopa where was Mario. Koopa tells him that he might be still inside the hotel, but he isn't sure. Bowser tries to enter, but the door was closed. He then sees the balcony in the presidential suite and has the idea to enter from there.

He climbs to the balcony and peeks through the window, watching confused how Mario was attacking Luigi. He witnesses how Yoshi grabs the Sacred Scepter and shoots Mario just to watch how a strange cloud of smoke rushes towards him, pushing him over the balcony to the ground.

After Mario and the group are convinced they defeated Soul, Johnny tells them they didn't, and at the same time Luigi asks what happened with him, Bowser was standing, looking through the horizon while uttering a loud roar, confirming that he had just been possessed by Soul.

Episode 11[]

Koopa runs to Bowser and explains to him that after he watched him fall over the balcony he tried to help him with an emergency towel, but it was dry, so after he went to wet it and returned, he wasn't there anymore. Bowser turns around, uncovering his twisted eye, product of the possession. Immediatly and with a demonic voice, he tells him that Mario already got the second Sacred Ball and he must avoid him from getting at least once more at all cost. At that moment, the bell rings and a deliver man gives Bowser a package in his name. Bowser opens it and realizes it's his army. He throws the package to a corner and when the deliver man asks him to sign a paper, he creates an explosion, killing him while Koopa watches in shock.

The sage Washatumorra calls the group and tells them to go visit him quickly. After they arrive, they see an injured Washatumorra on the ground. He explains them that Bowser was possessed by Soul and that they are now looking for the Shadowken, an energy ball with the capacity to destroy the world if it reaches its maximum size, which is achieved after an extremely powerful person makes a long ritual with it. Washatumorra explains the group that Bowser visited him a few hours ago. He was reading when Bowser caused an explosion and attacked him, making him to fall over his chair to the ground. He recognizes him as Bowser, but when he sees his twisted eye he immediatly realizes it's now Soul who he's talking to. Soul asks for the Shadowken. Washatumorra tells him that he doesn't need more power, and if it's the world what he want to destroy, which Soul answers with a short laugh. Washatumorra tells him he doesn't know where the Shadowken is, but Soul tells him that he always says he knows almost everything. Washatumorra tells him that that is one of the things he doesn't know, but after Soul threatens him with a knife, Washatumorra has to tell him that it's in the Mushroom Bank. Soul then tells him to give him the Sacred Ball he has. Washatumorra says he doesn't have it anymore because he sold it to a beggar, but after Soul threatens him again, he has no other option but give it to him. Soul then leaves, satisfied. Leaving Washatumorra behind. Washatumorra then encommends Mario and the group to take Soul out of Bowser and avoid him to get the Shadowken. He gives them the Sacred Ruby (a teleporting artifact) to make it on time.

Once in the Mushroom Bank, Soul deactivates the security cameras and enters to a vault or secret room, where a guard tries to prevent him from passing, but Soul simply takes out a knife and kills him. He enters and watches the Shadowken in an altar before taking it and getting out the Mushroom Bank.

Once outside the bank, Bowser encounters with Mario and his group, and mocks Mario's body in comparison with Bowser's body and abilities and tells him that it was thanks to Bowser's powers that he got the Shadowken, while he shows it to the group. Mario shoots Bowser with the Sacred Scepter, but Soul teleports and appears behind Mario. He attacks him and makes him drop the scepter. Mario tries to take it back, but Soul takes it, breaks it down by stomping on it, he then throws a lightning at it, he then sets it on fire and gives it a meteor shower, fully destroying it. He then says it's Mario's turn and creates a red ball of energy. He throws at Mario and the group, but Mario quickly orders the Sacred Ruby to teleport them to Washatumorra's house, avoiding the attack at the last second.

In a post-credit scene, a television intervention shows Soul Bowser in the screen and makes a focus on his twisted eye.

Episode 12[]

In the opening sequence, Bowser gets out of his castle and takes out the Shadowken and elevates it to the sky, causing a strong gust of wind and some lightnings while he laughs.

However, after a while, the Shadowken ran out of energy and Bowser decided to take a rest. He made himself with a snack, but when he was going to his room, he watches the package with the Koopa Army, still where he left it and has an idea. A few moments later, his army wakes up tied from the ceiling with a lava lake below them. Bowser whistles at them and they immediatly react. He welcomes them and Kamek answers, cordialy. With rage, Bowser says he wasn't suppose to answer and that he ruined his dramatic scene. He takes out a pair of scissors and cuts Kamek's rope, causing him to fall to the lava lake, dying in the process. He returns to the topic and reproaches them not being able to take the Sacred Ball from the sage Washatumorra. Birdo interrupts Bowser asking him what's wrong with his voice, but Bowser cuts his rope because of the change of topic. Shy Guy then asks why is Bowser still worried since he already took one of the Sacred Balls, but Bowser says it's not enough yet, since Mario is way too smart. He then remembers he had pending business with Koopa and calls him. Koopa arrives immediatly and Bowser grabs him from the neck, turns him upside down and starts dipping him slowly into the lava lake asking him how he couldn't stop Mario yet. In pain, Koopa swears to take all the Sacred Balls Mario had, so Bowser takes him out of the lava lake and throws him to a wall. He then adresses his army and tells them they're useless and stupid before cutting a Bob-Omb's rope, causing him to fall to the lava lake creating an explosion and killing every member in the Koopa Army in the process. Bowser then leaves to an unknown destiny.

Personality[]

As Bowser, he shows to have a more faithful to his original counterpart. While he is clearly a tyrant monarch who is a manipulator and master tricker, enjoys kidnapping Princess Peach and fighting Mario as well as have a certain mistreat over his minions and rage attacks, this version isn't clear of comedic moments and overall, a more chilling personality in comparison with other villains.

This version has many comedic moments such as him getting dressed as Mario to trick everyone and his talks with his oun Conscience. Even when he is portrayed more seriously, there are sometimes comic reliefs that completely break with the seriousness in the scene, such as the Winnie the Pooh gag occuring right after he absorbs all the power in the Sacred Wand or the We're trying to sleep! Shut up! gag during Peach's kidnapping. However, since Episode 7 he started being played way more seriously, while not because of that completely seriously. Examples include his female announcer voice after he invades the Mushroom Kingdom and his performance of Michael Jackson's Beat It while he is using Facebook. It's not until the end of Episode 10 that he gets possessed by Soul and he loses all his comedic traits.

He has a lot of hobbies and things he enjoys such as eating tacos, as seen in Episode 7, using Facebook and listening to music as seen in Episode 9 and watching TV, going to the gym, playing videogames and even cooking as his To-Do list sugests in Episode 7.

As Soul, he has a more serious and sadistic personality who, unlike Soul Mario, is conscious enough to understand who his allies and who his enemies are. After the possession, he becomes notably more evil and is even willingly to destroy the world, although it's debatable weather it's Soul the one fully responsible of his actions or if he became that evil by his own choice.

Trivia[]

  • It's debatable how aware Soul Bowser really is of himself.
    • On one hand, it's true that opposite to Mario's case, he is able to speak and to understand who his enemies and who his allies are (no matter how much of a façade this might be) and even in Episode 12 he talks to Koopa as Bowser ("I've sent you with Mario several times"), showing that he has at least enough conscience to understand who he is and remember certain events.
    • On the other hand however, Soul is treated to be a different entity, at least in Episode 11, like the sage Washatumorra referring to him as Soul and him actually responding to that name as well as later in that same episode, he says that he obtained the Shadowken thanks to Bowser's powers, not to mention that Soul by definition turns evil to whoever he possesses.
      • However, these or any other point of view (like this being a continuity error) remain as interpretative, as the main series was left inconclusive and therefore the character wasn't further developed.
  • After the main series was inconclusive, there have been multiple continuations made by fans exploring different ways for both Bowser and Soul. However, all of them remain as fanmades.
    • One of the most popular explored Bowser's redemption and Soul as the main antagonist in the end, but it's currently deleted.
  • Bowser opened and closed the Winnie the Pooh gag. It was first seen in Episode 1 after Bowser confuses Winnie the Pooh with Mario and beats him, causing him to run in terror and it's lastly seen in Episode 12, after Bowser executes Kamek.
    • In the same way, he is the character who gets the Winnie the Pooh most times in the series.
  • Bowser doesn't make a physical appereance in episodes 5, 6 and 8, but in episode 5 he sends Mario a text message and also leaves a blood mesage in the wall of the castle, making episodes 6 and 8 the only ones where Bowser doesn't appear or is mentioned.
