Briar is the secondary antagonist of a Pokémon fanfic, Pokémon Maroon and it's 2nd DLC arc, The Indigo Disk Incident.
She is skilled businesswoman and headmaster of Blueberry Academy who is actually a mentally obsessed scientist who wanted Terapagos for herself and the Paradox Pokémon ever since the days with Sada and Turo before working on the time machine (that would later become the AI that killed thousands of trainers, including the protagonist's sister.), so she worked with Kieran into brainwashing all the citizens around the Blueberry Academy and Indigo City.
Teal Mask Case arc[]
After the events of Maroon, Florian soon heard about the news of Kitakami's missing children and noticed it's this year's field trip, so he went on to discover the secrets within Mossi.
After gathering the gang together; Florian, Nenoma, Arven and Penny meet Briar to ask about the field trip to Kitakami, to which they were all accepted to go and head on to discover the case of the missing children, the real truth between the ogre and three Pokémon and the dark secret of a hidden cult.
The Indigo Disk Incident[]
Following the events of Teal Mask Case, Kieran creates a machine to would cause the blackout that killed Terapagos and used its energy to create more machines to brainwash and control everyone in his order to later take over the Blueberry Academy and Paldea for himself, creating Pecharunt, a cybernetic AI that disguises itself as a Pokémon like berry to brainwash people to control in pain for itself and the "ultimate" AI that will take over Paldea for himself. Briar joins alliance with him, needing his help to gain access to the center of Paldea and in offer of him to invite Florian to the academy so he can take his title and Briar to take access to the labs for the Paradox Pokémon.
Thus, both worked together to brainwashed everyone at Blueberry Academy and Briar killed Director Cyrano after he refused to allow their plans to continue, Kieran later created a clone of him and Briar uses his memory and DNA to make him feel like the real Cyrano, thus allowing him to invite Florian to the academy and later continuing their plan, working together to create the ultimate AI to take over Paldea.
Personality[]
During her facade, she is a calm and charming woman who seems to be a curious yet busy woman, wanting to discover Terapagos for the world to see and often adventuring the world.
In reality, she's a mentally obsessed scientist who wanted Terapagos for herself and became very obsessive to find the Pokémon. It was revealed she wanted to work with Sada and Turo about the Pokémon from the past and future, in exchange for profit to use them for a place of "paradise" when really she wanted to use them for her own gain but Sada and Turo denied the deal, and she became upset and forced herself to Area Zero before security stopped her.
