Broly is the main antagonist in the Dragon Ball Z Abridged Movie BROLY.
Biography[]
Long ago, Broly was born with a power level of ten thousand. Worried over a baby having such a high power, King Vegeta declared that the baby is to be executed much to the dismay of Paragus who attempts to reason that Broly would be an asset against Freeza. However, he is shot by the king for a smartass comment, and King Vegeta turns to his grand vizier for guidance who tells him to stab the baby. When he tries to though, he finds Broly to be too tough, so he instead decides to just dump him into a hole with his father.
Afterward, Freeza destroys the planet while Broly and Paragus manage to escape. As Broly grew up, Paragus worked to help him grow. However, during their travels in south galaxy, Paragus utters a single word that causes Broly to go berserk and completely destroy South Galaxy. This action get the attention of the Kais who call for the aid of Goku.
From there, Paragus invites Vegeta to a planet dubbed New Vegeta where Vegeta and Trunks meet Broly. From there, Vegeta says that Broly may bed Trunks which Broly is quick to accept, much to Trunks's frustration. However, as Vegeta begins to leave, Goku arrives, scaring Paragus for a moment that he feels the need to refer to Goku by his earth name. From there, the Z Fighters learn of Paragus's plan and he also tells them that Broly was responsible for the destruction of South Galaxy. From there, Vegeta starts calling Goku "Kakarot", infuriating Broly into becoming the Legendary Super Saiyan. Vegeta is amazed by the power as Broly begins his assault on Goku.
From there, Paragus reveals to Vegeta that Broly's hate toward Goku stems from when they were babies, with Goku's crying tormenting Broly. Vegeta becomes dumbfounded by Broly's motive as he points out that Broly has more reason to hate him than Goku.
As the fight drags on, Broly becomes more and more unstable as he starts speaking in third person. eventually, once Vegeta joins the fray, Broly becomes only capable of saying Goku's saiyan name. Seeing this, Paragus decides to leave only for Broly to appear and crush him to death.
With this, the Z Fighters express their fight with Broly to be the worst thing they ever had to put up with. Piccolo says that fighting Garlic Jr. would be better, Trunks would be content with more androids, and Vegeta would rather be kicked in the dick than hear Broly shout Kakarot again. With this, Goku asks for everybody's energy so that he can finish the fight quickly. With this power, Goku punches Broly hard enough that the legendary super saiyan explodes.
HFIL[]
It is revealed that Broly ended up in HFIL following his death at Goku's hands where his sanity has been restored and he is now living with Turles. However, he still freaks out whenever he hears Goku's saiyan name, prompting Turles to calm him down. His father Paragus, is established to have been well meaning enough to not end up in Hell with him.
One scene also establishes that Neiz spies on him and Turles frequently, much to his annoyance.
