Bruce is the main antagonist of the 2018 Vyond dramatic feature film Alison's Eventful Life by CanadianScout (currently known as Kaneedian).
He is the ex-boyfriend of Jenny who broke up with him for being an abusive jerk towards her. Not wanting to be lonely again, he decides to find another girlfriend which is Anna, developing a crush on her. However, Anna doesn't approve of it as she then punches him in the nose, breaking it.
Furious for his broken nose, he decides to get revenge by kidnapping Anna for himself and his friends Ron and Stefan to be used as a slave as a punishment. After Anna was saved by Alison and Kat, he attempts to kill them both, only to be stopped by Kat, who sacrifices her life to save Anna. This would cause Bruce to realize that what Anna told him earlier was actually true and, showing remorse for all he had done, takes his own life by jumping off a cliff.
He is voiced by TTS Dave.
Appearance[]
Bruce is a man of muscular build who wears a black unbuttoned jacket, a white shirt, grey pants and brown shoes. He also has a scar on his left cheek.
Personality[]
Bruce is shown to be an envious person when it comes to relationships, as he hates being lonely again after his former girlfriend broke up with him for being abusive towards her. Due to this, he develops a crush on Anna, believing her to be the type of girl he likes, but this love attraction would go awry as he is then punched in the nose, which he claims as handsome.
This is where Bruce becomes more aggressive towards her, now vowing revenge for his broken nose by kidnapping Anna and taking her to an abandoned factory to be used as a slave, while also attempting to stop Alison and Kat from freeing her.
Despite his abusive attitude, he has a change of heart after Kat's sacrifice, believing that Anna was right about why she didn't want him (as proven by what he did to Jenny earlier). This results in him taking his own life in remorse for his actions.

Background[]
Prior to the events of the movie, Bruce and Jenny met at some unknown point of time before starting a relationship with each other and being married. However, as time went on, Bruce would reveal himself to be aggressive to her, so much to the point that Jenny ultimately breaks up with him, leaving him single and lonely.
Meeting Anna[]
With his two friends Ron and Stefan, Bruce would drive to a conventional store to buy some snacks and go to the bathroom. Entering inside, they buy a pack of Doritos and go to the counter to pay, but the store manager is having an argument with his boss about the store's poor treatment of employees. In the meantime, Bruce tells Stefan about what happened with his former girlfriend, saying that she broke up with him shortly after claiming that Bruce was the hero of her life and that she loves him so much that she wants to marry him, only to leave him lonely again (though it is later revealed that she broke up with him for his abusive behavior towards her).
Once the store manager leaves his office was about to leave and close the door for the day, Bruce asks where he is going which the latter replies that his shift is done and asks him and Stefan to leave the store as he is closing it for the day, despite the two having snacks to buy. This angers Bruce who thinks that the manager wants them to starve to death, which he replies that he meant to just leave the store and find other gas stations for food.
Annoyed, Bruce orders him to get back behind the counter and pay their snacks, but Stefan convinces him to just leave the store as they already had food a short while ago. As this was going on, Ron rushes inside the store to get in the bathroom, making the store manager worried as he had just washed the toilet, causing him to give up and leave the store. Bruce, disappointed, asks Ron why he didn't want to go to the bathroom earlier and doing it now instead, where he learns that Ron couldn't hold it due to the amount of food he has eaten, now having to wait ten minutes before leaving, which makes Bruce unamused.
As Bruce bangs on the door to persuade Ron into coming out of the bathroom, he notices Alison and Anna enter the store and orders Stefan to take care of them, which he does, much to his annoyance. As Anna asks Stefan where she could find a telephone for a tow truck in order to move Bruce's car as they can't stay on the side of the road and find a gas can, Bruce remarks on how beautiful Anna is and forgets about his former girlfriend, claiming her as ugly and that Anna is the type of girl he wants to date instead. Despite Stefan's provocations claiming he wouldn't dare dating her (which annoys him in the process), Bruce still attempts to do so, but Anna refuses as she never saw him before and that she is busy waiting for someone.
As she was about to leave the store, however, Bruce grabs her by the shoulder and turns her attention towards him, planning to marry her and have children. Disgusted by this, Anna punches him in the nose to get him off of her, causing it to break and bleed. Stefan would then angrily stare at Anna upon witnessing what she did to Bruce, which leads to the latter running away from the store with Alison. At the hospital, Bruce is informed by the doctor of his broken nose and that it would take two months for it to be fixed, but when the doctor thinks that he broke his nose by accident, Bruce plays the victim card by telling the whole story to her and blaming Anna for the injury, despite him being the cause of himself getting punched in the nose by Anna for forcing her into marrying him.
Bruce would then be interviewed on the news, where he tells Anna (who was watching the news on television) that she won't be getting away with breaking his nose, vowing to find a way to get revenge on her. Realizing that he is now plotting something, Anna wakes Alison up and tells her that they should try to negotiate with them so the incident would be forgotten. In the meantime, Bruce, Ron and Stefan are waiting for them in an alleyway, having set up a camp fire.
Once Alison and Anna arrive at their location, Anna tries to negotiate with Bruce and his friends, but the latter pushes her down to the ground and declines her apology. Anna begs that she just wanted to make things clear with him, but Bruce doesn't want to hear any of it as he berates her for breaking his nose, which he claims as the most important part of his body, despite him being the one who started it all in the first place, and that now he plots to do more than just mistreating her.
As Bruce then pokes Anna to mock her, Alison gets out of her car and orders them to stop, but is told to mind her own business by Bruce and Stefan. Alison attempts to save Anna, but Bruce orders her to leave and go back to her parents, which stuns her as she gets a brief flashback of her parents. With Alison distracted, Bruce puts Anna in the back seat of his car and the three drive off.
After a while of driving, Bruce decides to take a break and orders Ron to get her out of the car to have five minutes to do anything before they drive off again. Anna asks where they are taking her to, which he replies that he is taking her to a "way better place" where he will make her learn from her mistakes. This discussion takes the whole five minutes and Bruce orders her to get back in the car, but Anna refuses and tries to leave, only for her to notice that she is very far from MonaPolis (the movie's main setting). Reluctant, she finally decides to go along with them as walking all the way back to the town would starve her to death from the lack of food.
Bruce and his crew then eventually arrive to the place, revealed to be an abandoned factory. It is at this moment that Bruce reveals that he took Anna in to be their slave and do everything for them for now on. Anna attempts to flee, but is locked in a room by Ron and Stefan, who tell her that she will be forced to stay in the factory no matter what she does and that her friend won't be here to help. Now under their leadership, Anna is forced to clean the floors of the factory, which goes on for forty minutes, but Bruce wants her to go faster, not handling her sloppy speed, but she is too tired to do so.
Bruce then throws a bottle on the floor to give her some motivation, but this instead makes her shocked and stop mopping the floor. Bruce orders her to keep mopping, but to no avail. His friends then start to mock her about her motivation, claiming that she doesn't like her job and offering a raise on her salary, which they laugh on how it doesn't exist.
Later on, Bruce and his friends discuss on what they could do on that night, only to notice Anna stopping her chores as Bruce asks her where she is going. Anna then replies that she is going to bed, tired from all the chores she did for them, which makes Bruce's friends annoyed as they want her to wash clothes, cleaning a mess in the storage room and fix a broken window (which they don't care about). Anna asks why they are keeping her inside the factory, which Bruce answers that he did so as a punishment for breaking his nose and that she will do all the work for them until his nose is fixed.
Meanwhile, Kat is confronted by Jenny, Bruce's former girlfriend, who reveals to her that she deserved someone better than him and tells her why she had to break up with him, saying that she wanted someone normal. As Kat is determined to stop him, Jenny warns her that she might not stand a chance against him, but nonetheless, she gives Kat her gun before she leaves to the abandoned factory where she orders one of Bruce's friends to let her inside.
There, she orders Bruce's friends to give Kat back to her which they comply, only for Bruce to knock her out from behind, rendering her unarmed as her gun falls to the floor. Bruce then asks if she really thought that getting her friends here would help her out as he orders his friends to take care of Anna. He then picks up the gun and notices that it belongs to his former girlfriend, Jenny. Kat then reveals that Jenny gave the gun to her to avoid getting injured while hunting him down, having realized how much of a jerk and dangerous person he is, being the reason why she left him, but Bruce doesn't care about it.
Alison then arrives, despite Kat having told her to stay home, but still thanks her for coming to help them. Now seeking revenge on Bruce for what he did to her and her friends, she uses her revolver to shoot Jenny's gun out of Bruce's hand as she tells him how much pain he has caused and how he ruined the happiness of others to the point of them not wanting to live anymore, but as she was about to shoot him again, she runs out of bullets. As Alison, Kat and Anna were about to get back home, Ron blocks the door and holds her hostage as Bruce aims her at gunpoint, having enough of being insulted and now wanting to murder Anna to end it once and for all. However, as he pulled the trigger, Kat steps in and jumps in the way of the bullet, sacrificing her life to save Anna as she is fatally wounded.
Bruce watches in horror at what he had done, finally realizing that Kat was right about what she told him earlier as he runs outside towards a cliff. Ron follows him and asks why he decided to run out, but he orders Ron to leave him alone, saying that Kat was right about him the entire time and therefore he has no way to keep going with his attitude. Remorseful and guilty for his actions, Bruce jumps off the cliff and takes his own life. Stefan then goes outside to see Ron and asks where Bruce is, to which Ron answers that he went to a "better place".
Despite the doctors and paramedics' efforts, Kat eventually passes away from her wounds and buried in the graveyard, reunited with her deceased parents.
Trivia[]
- Bruce has quite a petty reason behind his motives in the movie, as all of the events happened because Anna broke his nose and claimed himself by being the victim with Anna being the attacker, despite the fact that he started it all in the first place by trying to forcefully marry Anna with him after being left by his ex-girlfriend for being a jerk.
