Butch and Ruben are major antagonists in Thomas Booth's Vyond videos.
Originally Mayor Humdinger's bodyguards in Paw Patrol: The Movie, they become Sir Topham Hatt's henchmen who aid him in his schemes of kidnapping women for petty and misogynistic reasons. In some videos, they do their schemes by themselves or with Dave Johnson, such as when they kidnap Sarah Simpson and four other girls named Annie Anderson, Wendy Reilly, Callie Kearney and Jessie Dempsey. Alongside their leader and Dave's gang, they would be eventually arrested by the police and sentenced to death by electric chairs, putting an end to their terror once and for all.
They are major antagonists in Sir Topham Hatt And His Gang Kidnap The Dress Girls, Sir Topham Hatt And His Gang Rob The Dress Shop, Butch, Ruben, and Sir Topham hatt arrested for kidnapping an teenage girl, Dave and his gang abduct the JCAW Girls twice and Dave and his gang ruin the JCAW Girls dance club/Prosecuted/Execution Scheduled, the main antagonists of Sarah Escapes from the Dungeon and 4 girls kidnapped by Antagonists and two of the three main antagonists of Dave and his Gang get Executed and the fan-made finale Sir Topham Hatt (Cornelius McDonald Version) and his Gang gets Executed.

Like their leader Sir Topham Hatt, they are petty misogynists who kidnap women just because they hate them.
Biography[]
Background[]
Butch and Ruben were born in 1980 and 1976 respectively, giving the two a 4-year difference in terms of age. They used to work for Mayor Humdinger before they left him to work for Sir Topham Hatt instead.
Present Day[]
Butch and Ruben participate in their leader's schemes by kidnapping several girls such as Sarah Simpson and four other girls for the only purpose of toying with them due to their hatred of women. Aside from following Sir Topham Hatt, they were also shown to commit crimes by themselves by doing the same thing.
They would also be part of Dave's gang where they ruin the JCAW girls' dance party by throwing rocks at them, making them scream in pain. This would be the last straw as shortly after, Butch, Ruben, Bob the Builder and Dave Johnson are prosecuted and arrested for the assault, being sentenced to death by electric chair, with their execution scheluded for August 25th, 2023.
On the day of their execution, Butch, Ruben, Bob the Builder and Dave attempt to escape the prison so they don't get the death penalty. While they do succeed in escaping the prison, it would only be a short matter of time until the police catches them and has their executions carried out.
Sir Topham Hatt (Cornelius McDonald Version) and his Gang gets Executed[]
Two years later, in 2025, Butch and Ruben would be revived from the dead by Sir Topham Hatt, but they are immediately sentenced to death again, much to their horror as they only had a short time to live after being brought back alive.
After being scolded by the real Sir Topham Hatt, Duncan and Jonathan's parents and the JCAW girls, they are finally taken to the execution room where Butch and Ruben are executed for the second and final time.
Trivia[]
- Butch and Ruben are the only antagonists in the videos to be executed twice, as everyone else is executed once. It is revealed that their leader Sir Topham Hatt had revived them from the dead shortly after the first execution, which added an additional charge to him during the trial of he and his gang.
