“ | Morality is a primitive concept, it's full of limitation. I'm here to gain knowledge, not judging others of their decisions. So don't question my ways, I'm far above such fictional nonsense. | „ |
~ Caedas on his view on "morality" |
Caedas is a major antagonist in the Multiversal Legends universe as well as the Armored Studios omniverse as a whole. Caedas is the Prime Omega of the darker side of science and discovery who is in charge of making inventions for the Omega Empire including monsters, weapons, and other doomsday devices. Caedas also kidnaps people with telepathic powers and genius intellect so that he could dissect them and take their brains for his experiments.
Biography[]
Origins[]
Caedas was a mortal scientist during the time of the old Omniverse, who was a scientist who served Lord Zoth Nekronan (one of Nekrus's reincarnations who would later become Nekrozoth) during his tyrannical dictatorship over his empire. He was one of the head scientist at the Ascension Program working under Miles Drekken, which lead to numerous individuals to be driven mad and die as a result of numerous cruel human experiments.
When his wife started complaining of his cruel experiments, it began to annoy him and decided to murder her to silence her. Through trial and error, the Ascension Program worked and used it to resurrect their lord Nekronan after he was killed by rebels. Through the program, Nekronan was brought back to life as a living god and became the omnicidal entity named Nekrozoth.
Ascension[]
Like the rest of Nekrozoth's followers, he used the Program into turning himself into a god, becoming the Prime Omega of Dark Science and Discovery. When the original Prime Omegas learned of their master's return, he and the rest of the new Prime Omegas followed Nekrozoth and the original Prime Omegas in a omnicidal crusade of genocide and slavery as a attempt to take control of the entire Omnivserse.
Through Nekrozoth's actions, they end up destroying their own omniverse but survived and ended up in the new Omniverse to continue their attempt to take it over, this time they decided to help Nekrozoth in recreating the Omniverse in his image image, with him being of the Omegas who genuinely believe in his cause. He was personally assign by Nekrozoth to be the head scientist, as Nekrozoth believes he is the most competent and knowledgeable of the Omegas.
Search For Knowledge[]
He one day met Lighterion, the scientist Prime Alpha, and engage him in a battle of wits and using their technology and inventions to battle each other. He lost to the Prime Alpha, which made him feel weak minded and foolish. As a result, he gain a new goal, to become the smartest being in the entire omniverse by requiring as much knowledge as possible. By doing so, he kidnap several individuals of high intellect to take their brains for him to consume in order to gain more knowledge and become more intelligent.
Appearance[]
Caedas dress in a robe like lab-coat, which covers his robotic parts he as on his body. He also has the Omega symbol labled on his chest of his lab-coat, and a iron belt. Caedas wears a mechanical mask with only one red lends which he uses to fire lasers or to control any part of his laboratory. Caedas also has black gloves he always wear, and is slightly taller than an average human.
Personality[]
Caedas acts as the Prime Omega "Mad Scientist" who is in charge of several unethical experiments assign by Nekrozoth. Mainly he uses them to increase his intelligence so he could be the smartest person alive, he is very delusional as well because he claimed to wanting to help humanity but is actually just a misanthrope who believe the human race are monkeys festering the planet like ignorant slaves. He often tries to justify his actions that they are for science yet shows no signs of empathy or remorse for any suffering he causes.
As part for his search for knowledge, he has almost no signs of moral standards and is happy to cross any line in his quest to be the smartest being in the omniverse. He even goes so far as to deem morality as irrelevant to his research and don't like being judge for the things he does, he once murdered his wife out of annoyance for complaining to much about his immoral experiments (particularly his role in the Ascension Program). While he never states or make any comments that akins to them, he might believe himself to be a god through his experiments and made his own living creatures that adore him like a father figure. His motivation in wanting to become the smartest being there is was due to his envy of a Prime Alpha scientist with a much higher degree of intellect than his, which made him feel weak minded.
In order to gain more intelligence, he kidnaps those with extremely high intellect and still their brains for him to reduce energy for him to drink. He has no qualms with even kidnapping children, especially ones with psyche abilities, and experiment on them under his master's orders. He need to be the smartest being in existence leads him to be very egotistical.
He does show care for his own creation, as he deems them his own children and is very protective of them. When he learned that one of his "children" died, he was sadden and it is implied he shed a tear underneath his mechanical mask. He also has a soft spot for nature, while he would cross any line to gain knowledge and become smarter than everyone else having to pollute the air and sea and doing harm to animals and trees is the one thing he refuse to do. He also once mention his disgust with Nekrozoth's decision to decimate worlds and forests to make room for his war factories, so he made his own garden and forest as a large section in his laboratory.
Regardless, he is very loyal to Nekrozoth and his cause and genuinely does believe in Nekrozoth's words. He is also fairly affable to his fellow Prime Omegas and their enemies, even towards his kidnapped victims he experiments on. He also shows sincere respects to the Champions, particularly Legends and Jack Spark.
Powers and Abilities[]
- Genius Intellect: He is one of the most, if the most, intelligent Prime Omega (possibly being second to Nekrozoth). So much so he was personally assign by Nekrozoth to be the head scientist of the Prime Omegas. He was one of the two responsible for creating weapons in the Omega Empire (along with Strife), primarily making drugs that increases the strengths of soldiers of the Prime Omega empire and making designs of powerful creatures and weapons for Strife to make for the empire. He also has a kean and strategic mind, though he does not engage in the battle field as he prefer performing his experiments. He was also the cause for creating deadly gases that the Prime Omega uses at the battlefield. He was also able to create life through one of his experiments.
- Elemental Manipulation: Doesn't show much of it, but he does show some abilities to control rocks and using plants for combat against his enemies. He also has some control over his chemical weapons, like controlling a deadly perform he made against his enemies.
- Combat Skills: He does have some form of hand to hand combat, but prefer others to fight for him. However if things are getting out of hands, he would get his own hands dirty.
- Teleportation: Only in his lab, which he controls large amounts of it, he can appear anywhere in it out of nowhere.
- Portal Creation: His belt, which is actually another invention of his, can open portals to other dimensions which he uses to travel. He also uses it as a weapon, using it to teleport someone to a hostile area to be killed.
Trivia[]
- The creator took inspiration from Darth Jadus appearance wise.
- Caedas was going to be the main antagonist of his own series that takes place in the same universe as Multiversal Legends. However the idea was scrapped.
- He is possibly one of the smartest characters in Multiversal Legends and Tales of the Omniverse.
- It took BrandonDarkOne47 a year or probably a month to get him around to even bother making his page, since he created the idea of this character probably near the end of last year. Due to him being lazy, it took him a while to ever bother making Caedas's page.
