Caillou's Classmates, also referred to as The Bullies, are the main antagonists of the potatoeanimate movie, Caillou's Life.
They are a group consisting of Clyde, Stephanie, Noah, Arthur, and Dora, at Vyond Middle School who bully and harass Caillou to no end for their own amusement.
Biography[]
When Caillou is introduced as a new student to Vyond Middle School, the bullies react to him in disgust. Stephanie and Noah right off the bat plan on locking Caillou in their locker, before Ms. Martin calls out the two for talking during class and gives them a warning. Later during the lunch period, Clyde purposefully rams over Caillou on his way to the cafeteria. At the cafeteria, Noah clobbers Caillou on the head with a book, claiming that he is seated at their table, before Stephanie shoves his food in his face, telling him to get out. All three bullies laugh as Caillou runs out of the cafeteria crying.
When Caillou attempts to tell his father, Boris about his classmates picking on his, Boris shrugs it off and simply tells Caillou to try and talk sense into theme. Finding no help with his father, Caillou instead attempts to explain his problem to his mother, Doris instead, who contacts the school and requests that the bullies apologize to Caillou. The next day at school, Noah, Stephanie, and Clyde are at the principle's office, where Mrs. Clementine forces them to think on their inappropriate behavior towards Caillou, and lets them off with a warning.
Later during lunch, Arthur, alongside the rest of the bullies confront Caillou over snitching his other gang members, and beat him to a bloody pulp in retribution. Later during the school year, after Caillou struggles with the death of his mother, the bullies constantly assault and harass him. (e.g.: beating him up in the hallways, to making fun of him when he fails classes)
Eventually during February 2017, the bullies are in one of their houses, thinking of an idea to torment Caillou. Stephanie, claims she has an idea for the ultimate prank, where she suggests to lace Caillou's lunch with laxatives, before setting up a camera in the restroom, so they can film him pooping. They then go through with their plan, as the next day during lunch, Arthur distracts Caillou by pulling down his pants while Noah pours in the laxative. After he eats his laxative-laced lunch, Noah goes to the restroom to plant the currently recording camera, right before Caillou feels the sense to poop. After finishing pooping, Clyde retrieves the camera and Stephanie secretly comments on their plan going perfectly. After class, Stephanie tasks Dora to play their footage at the school's theater, where everyone goes after school.
The next day at the school's theater, Dora plays the footage of Caillou pooping, humiliating him. This in turn leads to Caillou later attempting to take his own life over their constant torment. Later when he survives and is placed in a hospital, Caillou tells Boris about his classmates, who finally realizes about them getting out of control, before he contacts the school, and explains the whole ordeal with the bullies.
The following day afterwards, Ms. Martin is outraged by her students and informs them about Caillou's current situation in the hospital. However all of them lack empathy towards Caillou as they laugh, before Ms. Martin scolds them over the fact that Caillou nearly took his own life over their harassment. Noah comments that they intentionally knew what they did was wrong and Stephanie adds on that they tormented Caillou for their own amusement. As Ms. Martin states that all owe Caillou a massive apology, she threatens on top of that to expel all of the members if nothing comes out of them and they continue their harassment towards Caillou.
As Dora states they all understand her, Ms. Martin suspends the bullies for a week. Later on, all five of the members get grounded for several months and punished by their parents as word spreads out. Several months after the incident, Caillou becomes more adjusted at school, as all five characters become remorseful, having become traumatized over their past actions. So during lunch, all approach Caillou and genially apologize for their behavior over the past year. Caillou forgives his classmates as they have changed and claims that they can bury the hatchet and move on. All five leave as Noah states that Caillou can join them if he wants, much to the surprise of Caillou's friends, seeing how people can change.
