Caine is a supporting antagonist in the absurdist comedy VRChat series The Oddball Digital Shenanigans and the upcoming VRChat series The Amazing Digital Shenanigans from RobotnikZentric.
He was voiced and portrayed by Futurejedirex (and one time Fazbearman in the episode "JigSaw Highlights of July 26th's Shenanigans of 2025") in The Oddball Digital Shenanigans, however who will portray him in The Amazing Digital Shenanigans remains unknown.
Bio/Personality[]
He is often seen hanging out with the crew of the circus such as Pomni, Kaufmo, Jax and Kinger, and sometimes seeing Gummigoo, his dim loyal assistant Bubble and a few other people such as his brother from a alternate universe called Daine.
Similar to the original Caine, he is upbeat, goofy, clueless, cheerful, extroverted, controlling, somewhat over-the-top and enthusiastic, aspiring to create eventful and interesting adventures for his captive humans to experience, except his own adventures aren't done via suggestions anymore and allows his residents to practically roam free in a digital realm everyone seems to be locked in. He often tries to hype the humans up for his quests and games but at the same time, he does show some restraint as he seems alright with everyone casually interacting with one another (at least most of the time).
He also seems to be quite self-centered and a bit of an attention-seeker at times such as dabbing in front of Kaufmo, Ragatha and Dibby, and showed a whiny side when nobody was voting for him. He even willingly threw caution into the wind and jumped off the edge of a ship and fell in the water on purpose.
He can be really strange and weird sometimes, such as pretending to act like a dog (even getting into a playful rivalry with Pomni in Fanciest Highlights of July 31st's Shenanigans of 2025) and rambling to the Moon when she wasn't even talking to him in Looney Highlights of August 9th's Shenanigans of 2025.
Even though he likes to keep in control of how the adventures go, anyone noticing his history with the Moon makes him have a nervous attitude once he thinks people discovered personal info of himself, and immediately tries to either lie his way out of it or even delete someone's internet history. He even reveals to always watching everyone Kaufmo and everyone does through Kaufmo's eyes by saying "I'm always watching!", thus unsurprisingly showing how much of a control freak he is to dictate what happens.
Despite the fact he sometimes appear friendly and sometimes helpful in episodes like "Wild Highlights of July 18th's Shenanigans of 2025" and "Highlights of July 25th's Shenanigans of 2025", and yet he also likes to torment and tease Kaufmo with the butt pictures that Ragatha and Pomni kept and tend to put out publicly (which he did since he got requests from his fans of his show to bring more of it), and he sometimes tries to be bossy and controlling towards with the way Kaufmo swore without censoring before forcibly making a censoring option for him whenever he swears, and tried to make him lick a mess Kaufmo felt like he wasn't entitled or obligated into doing.
He is also quite strict over petty reasons (especially scolding the Disappearing Guy for speaking without a mouth, and scolding Kaufmo for pooping in a toliet where the fake exit lane; which Kaufmo pooping was caused by a badly made drink that Caine gave Kaufmo to cause that Kaufmo drinked unknowingly), and Kaufmo doesn't approve of this side of him and even believed Caine forced Kaufmo to be censored because he was a "cuck" and a "stickler for the rules". Caine appears to try manipulating anyone into doing what he wants, even when he tried to mind-control people like Kaufmo, who was rebellious enough to resist and refuse to obey his commands, as he instead entices Pomni into helping Caine give Kaufmo a useless "punishment" such as pushing him into the Gloink Hole (and when Pomni refused, Caine uses the fact he said Gummigoo is gone forver to persuade and coerce her into doing what he wanted at no cost).
He happens to have decent memory skills as he sometimes does a flashback sequence and recalls moments regarding Kaufmo when Caine wants to make continuity with Kaufmo's feelings for Ragatha that Kaufmo had exclaimed one time, and even regarding his search history, and he was ready to delete history of Kaufmo wanting to ship himself with her as soon as possible. He often loves to wink a lot to the camera and breaking the fourth wall so usually.
He also seems to come off as charismatic when he shares his ideas to others and doesn't want people to think he makes suggestions, such as the time in "Fanciest Highlights of July 31st's Shenanigans of 2025", where he is seen convincing Kaufmo to try getting to bond with the Sun herself and acted as a matchmaker in some way regarding her since Ragatha wasn't around, Caine predicted Ragatha would eitherget jealous of Kaufmo or it'd be "her loss", which Kaufmo thanked and saw it as a suggestion (but Caine immediately said it was a idea). This wouldn't go anywhere as Caine's 'idea' intended.
He is a pathological liar since he will admit a truth and try to lie about it right afterwards, such as knowingly running over Ragatha and immediately lying that she was having a tea party when that's obviously not what happened, thus revealing his malicious behavior just because Kaufmo changed his looks.
He also shows an arrogant, apathetic, egotistical, remorseless, sociopathic, delusional and extremely hypocritical side to him sometimes, as he calls his brother Daine "very dumb and stupid", and yet he is no better himself since he can be foolish and something of a massive dimwit himself since Daine was smart and rational enough to call out Bubble on his behavior where all Caine did was tell a panicking Kaufmo that running wouldn't help and said he was much faster than Kaufmo, Caine thought a mannequin named Disappearing Guy isn't supposed to talk for having no mouth before Kaufmo brings up the fact that Zooble can speak and doesn't have a mouth either (making Caine realize how existential the reality was for a moment), Caine somehow forgot that Evil Pomni was a NPC (which Evil Pomni told Kaufmo to not remind Caine and Kaufmo said to Evil Pomni in a hushed conversation that Caine is plain stupid as to why he forgot), Caine called a donut a "ring thing" even before Kaufmo said that was a donut and Kaufmo even quips at least two different times that Caine doesn't know what a donut is, Caine thought he only had gums and just teeth like a normal human being does before the Sun corrected Caine by saying that his teeth was basically his gums since Caine's head is literally teeth dentures with floating eyeballs for a head (which is why Sun silently tells Kaufmo and gestures to the fact Caine has a messed-up brain).
What makes him even more of a hypocrite is that, despite telling Bubble and Ragatha to not take things far with lying or gaining attention, he also appears to have no remorse for any of the harm he ever inflicted on anyone, especially what he inflicts on Kaufmo. By the next episode "Wild Westing Highlights of August 10th's Shenanigans of 2025", Caine became more of a dismissive, self-centered jerk towards Kaufmo far more than before, and had no remorse for running over Ragatha, trying to make it look like she's dead and angering Kaufmo even though Kaufmo was mad at Caine for giving him stomach pain with his badly made drink Kaufmo wasn't aware of. While he drove backwards before driving normally again; Caine revealed he ate a painted cake since he thought cake is made out of paint (this kind of stupidity Caine revealed to show resulted in Kaufmo pinching his non-existent nose and outright calling him a imbecile he and everyone were dealing with despite Caine acting like he's smart).
Even when Caine seems or acts unstoppable or invincible, he is also prone to acting incompetently and obliviously, making a fool of himself, getting embarassed easily, and/or being ridiculed/somewhat humilated by Kaufmo as a form of revenge from the latter for Caine's behavior and actions. Such as the episode "Wild Westing Highlights of August 10th's Shenanigans of 2025", where Pomni points out Caine doesn't have a brain (figuratively and literally), Purple points out how his head is a pair of dentures since actual teeth is meant to be a little yellow, and Kaufmo was able to take note of Caine's eye pupils facing backwards while he was driving until he stopped driving (despite Caine saying he can see where he's going), and Caine got effectively distracted him and Kaufmo's trick caused a collisional pause in Caine's driving, throwing Caine completely off-guard once Kaufmo got Caine stuck before resetting the car he was driving (which Caine absolutely deserved to happen to him as a form of karma for his heartless behavior), which Caine then said he was "watching everyone from behind while driving" as his reasoning for what Kaufmo saw, and Kaufmo even jokes how in a Titanic map; Caine looks like a "best man of someone's wedding" since his clothes get darker in shade, causing Caine to say "why does this happen every time?!", and in the same episode he attempted to repeat Kaufmo's wall climbing abilties (and falling short and falling off the ceiling instead of climbing as good as he does). In Wild Highlights of July 18th's Shenanigans of 2025, Caine was also caught off guard and confused as to how Kaufmo managed to discover his history of interacting with the moon or even finding his search history, and even then, Caine cruelly said it was better if Kaufmo was better off abstracting for knowing too much.
Pomni even joins and attempts helping Kaufmo in his plans to prank and humiliate Caine for his actions in "Looney Highlights of August 9th's Shenanigans of 2025" once Kaufmo told Pomni he was plotting to get even with Caine, which Pomni helps by pooping on Caine's stage and destroying his sandcastle for causing Kaufmo to have diarrhea, effectively humiliating Caine even when Caine tries resorting to other types of control such as attempted mind-control.
He unusually shows honor towards people who died in the Titanic tragedy in Wild Westing Highlights of August 10th's Shenanigans of 2025, breaking the fourth wall to show respect and tact of what happened and does not make light of the matter. He also made water solid in the driving adventure because he believes people in the digital world can die from drinking water.
In "JigSaw Highlights of July 26th's Shenanigans of 2025", his portrayal is different since he unusually showed a less dictating side and more of the clueless charming type much like his canon version would, and it's even played for laughs when he shows to be a coward when confronted by Sun, but also fights Bubble over biting Kaufmo's comfort plush animal and admits his own cane was futile compared to Kaufmo's goofy finger poking Bubble and popping Bubble. Caine appears that he had promised the Sun to have scripted lines, and Caine was stunned and speechless before he chickens out in a cowardly fashion before the Sun could punish him for not giving her any lines yet. However, his avatar design in this episode comes back again in the episodes Highlights of July 25th's Shenanigans of 2025 and Royally Insane Highlights of August 3rd's Shenanigans of 2025 but also shifts back to the usual "self-centered control freak with morally questionable behavior" version that he's typicaly known for in this series.
Villainous Acts[]
- Enticing Bubble to chase after Ragatha for her "licorice hair".
- In his role as the Murderer in the adventure game Murder, he convinced everyone he was innocent so everyone would believe Kaufmo was the bad guy in a Murder game while he was the murderer.
- Heartlessly telling Kaufmo that he should've abstracted for simply having knowledge of him, his interactions with the Moon, and knowing his internet search history.
- Willingly allow his fans and residents to get pictures of Kaufmo's butt as requested and demanded.
- Forcing Kaufmo to have difficulty swearing.
- With Caine's leadership, he and Jax both guided the main crew (including Evil Pomni) into trapping the whole crew besides Kaufmo and a missing Ragatha, in a room, by using their trust and lack of knowing to lead them into a mostly inescapable room Kaufmo tried to warn everyone about was a trap.
- He slaps Pomni in the face out of revenge from a dare he told Pomni to slap him, and called it "fair revenge" for getting punched in the face as he told Pomni to do.
- Trying to force Kaufmo to lick and clean up a mess against his will, and Kaufmo refused to follow through and instead clean it with his hands. He even attempted to magically give Kaufmo a tongue to add to the cruelty, but this act had backfired since Caine's command did not compute with Kaufmo's avatar (especially where the tongue would go since Kaufmo's mouth is just sausage lips and nothing inside).
- Attempting to mind-control Kaufmo, and when that failed, he coerces Pomni into sending Kaufmo into "the hole", which he did simply because Kaufmo touched his bow-tie.
- Recklessly driving in an abandoned city, which was considered a crime.
- Carelessly giving Kaufmo a drink that messed with his intestines and gave him diarrhea since Caine used the wrong ingredients to make the drink at a bar, and still blamed the fault on Kaufmo for not sniffing the drink first, and even tried to find an unrelated reason for causing Kaufmo to have diarrhea such as Taco Bell instead of himself.
- By the next episode "Wild Westing Highlights of August 10th's Shenanigans of 2025", when Kaufmo got stomach pain from the diaherra from the previous episode, to the point where his legs felt worse than before and that made him behave irritably and hatefully towards Caine for what he (and Kaufmo's) actions both had caused for Kaufmo's mood during half the driving adventure despite Kaufmo trying to keep his usual cheery attitude being a struggle for him that day since Kaufmo genuinely hated Caine for the drink he gave him (causing Kaufmo to beef with Caine in the first place; which Caine actively dismisses these acts of his and treats Kaufmo like he's the one in the wrong and not both of them), Caine forgets that this even happened until Kaufmo brought up his stomach was hurting, and until this very moment; Caine just kept agitating, provoking, and even invalidating how Kaufmo feels numerous times through taunts, mockery and dismissive retorts all while toying with his anger and frustration for most of the driving adventure only until Kaufmo was questioning the reason for his sudden lack of hatred towards Caine after a funny moment made everyone laugh regarding a glitching trick that Kinger and Kaufmo performed when Caine was driving (and Caine shows absolutely no remorse for anything terrible he did; saw Kaufmo's loss of hatred as "character development" with amusement, and just explains the context for why Kaufmo feels the way he feels by stating he "accidentally" gave him the drink and focused on the fact he could project two flashbacks of the same event in this very episode more than anything else, he hardly any empathy, pretending to empathize with Kaufmo crapping a lot and was grateful of Bubble cleaning up the mess as Caine commanded Bubble to; he has no apology or relenting thoughts for anything he did).
- It is directly implied he knowingly ran over Ragatha since he told everyone this and then immediately lied about it just to annoy Kaufmo. It's extra concerning that he also implied he ran her over and taunted Kaufmo this just because Kaufmo didn't wear the "dummy thicc" version of his own avatar anymore.
- Beefing with Kaufmo, which is considered a crime worth arresting him for (as well as his reckless driving mentioned earlier).
- Attempting to get Kaufmo's shooter to shoot Kaufmo, which completely backfired and got himself shot.
- Declaring to Pomni, Gummigoo and Purple to have Kinger shot down and calling Kinger a "terrorist", which didn't work since nobody had guns in the passenger's seat in the truck.

- Memory Projection: In episodes like "Wild Highlights of July 18th's Shenanigans of 2025", "Fanciest Highlights of July 31st's Shenanigans of 2025" and "Wild Westing Highlights of August 10th's Shenanigans of 2025", Caine can project what happened in previous episodes as flashbacks for a certain moment at will, like retelling Kaufmo confessing his feelings to Ragatha, Kaufmo hacking accounts and discovering everyone's search history (even if he's only telling what he remembers), and possibly attempting to ship himself with Ragatha (which Caine planned to delete soon), and when Caine messed up Kaufmo's drink that caused Kaufmo to have diaherra after Kaufmo earlier ate a knife.
- Limited magic: As part of the game functions themselves, he can force people to be censored if they had no censored bar, and even force people to have their mouths shut.
- Authoritarian Power: Even if this works for him or otherwise backfires for him, he loves to assert his control and leadership onto everyone in the circus by holding absolute power and using it to dictate the behavior, thoughts, and actions of others, often through faux charisma and instruction in and out of adventures, and if someone rebels and disagrees to listen to him, he will resort to coercion and suppressing dissent with the help of others for very low-stakes punishments such as silencing others magically, censoring others magically or sending others into a hole as an attempt of a "time out".
Weaknesses:[]
- Low intelligence: Despite all of his powers, controlling nature, arrogance, charisma and generally having On & Off intelligence that allows him to make decent decisions of his own (even having fun with others), he is also prone to clueless, unperceptive and unintelligent behavior that can be used against him on a few occasions if someone were to pull a unexpected trick/prank on him, call him out on his false statements, or if his most of his plans didn't harm others as badly as he had thought or attempted to, which typcially leaves him acting in a bumbling fashion and behaving as more a boneheaded comic foil for anyone to make fun of him in the long run for his many delusions that contradict himself, rather than a truly menacing AI ringmaster.
