Camerupt is a minor antagonist in the 2021-2022 fanfiction Pokémon: The Lost Child written by Ordeaux26, specifically being the overarching antagonist of the chapter "Ice Punch" and the main antagonist of the chapter "Eruption". Camerupt is a lone Pokémon as well as an extremely nihilistic one who seeks to destroy as much life as he can no matter the cost.
Personality[]
Camerupt is very quickly established as one of the worst villains in the entire series and one so dangerous Aegislash was forced to team up with Empoleon and Sceptile. Camerupt is extremely nihilistic not caring about anyone's life including his own. Camerupt also enjoys killing massively openly bragging about how much he enjoyed killing Weavile's parents.
History[]
Not much is known about Camerupt's backstory. The only thing that is known is that Camerupt's first murders were the parents of Weavile when she was only a baby. Camerupt loved the thrill of killing and took to the idea f killing as many Pokémon as he could. Camerupt would gain access to some technology that would allow him to pump so much magma into a volcano that it would cause a massive eruption. Camerupt would first target the volcano that was home to a massive mining operation by The Brotherhood killing all of the Pokémon inside and taking it over.
When Aegislash showed up to investigate why the volcano had gone silent he encountered Camerupt. Camerupt activated the force shield that blocked three villages from escaping the volcano's eruption and then Camerupt and Aegislash got into a fight with Camerupt almost killing Aegislash but Aegislash managed to escape just in time. Camerupt kept going with his plan while Aegislash got Empoleon and Sceptile to help him in taking down Camerupt. Camerupt was confronted again by the three and Camerupt was defeated and pushed inside the lava of the volcano. As one last act of spite, Camerupt blew himself up using explosion collapsing the volcano and erupting it, which also leads to Camerupt's death and the death of a few Pokémon.
