Captain Truyart Blois is the main antagonist of the Disney+ animated series Captain Phoebus, which is a prequel to The Hunchback of Notre Dame.
He is the most feared and cold-blooded leader of the French Crusaders who invades homes of innocent people and puts them under slavery of his own pride to seize power and schemes to destroy other continentals, and would go under the orders of Judge Claude Frollo in the final season to destroy the Knights Templar and prevent them from bringing peace and justice to the world.
Through the series, Blois is the overall archenemy of the protagonist, Phoebus and his father Clotaire, as he is the reason why the father and son went into training to become soldiers and leaders of the Knights Templar, and the one who murdered the mother of Phoebus and nearly took half of his family away by burning their home down, which would lead Phoebus to face the hardships later.
He was voiced by Kevin Costner, who also played Thomas J. Murphy in 3000 Miles to Graceland, Devil Anse Hatfield in Hatfields & McCoys, Earl Brooks in Mr. Brooks and Lord Calibrex in the Starcruiser franchise.
