~ Unreliable challenging the Modern Innovators of Liberty and Freedom. |
Joel Haver, better known as Captain Unreliable or Professor Unreliable is the main antagonist of the superhero comedy roleplay film, we made horrible school superheroes.
He is an infamous supervillain who kidnaps Camera Man’s girlfriend for the sole purpose of sadism and revenge for the Modern Innovators of Liberty and Freedom not helping them when he needed them most, such as the British Bucket not responding to his texts, or Captain Property Damage not RSVPing to his birthday. Thanks to that, he is the arch-nemesis of the superhero group M.I.L.F, mostly Camera Man.
He is portrayed by Joel Haver himself, who also portrayed the Joker in Joker’s Most Devious Plan Yet.
Personality[]
“ | I will not pay rent! I am Captain Unreliable! | „ |
~ Unreliable refusing to pay rent, whilst showcasing one of his key attributes, his egotism. |
Unreliable initially has all of the hallmarks of a classical over-the-top supervillain, that being a sadistic, vengeful, conniving and egotistical arch-nemesis that serves only to wreak havoc and make the heroes suffer in whatever way he sees fit. He doesn’t care about his own employees (even though he never abuses them), specifically kidnaps the girlfriend of the only hero who didn’t do anything to him and, worst of all, doesn’t pay rent when staying at the British Bucket’s house. He is also quite petty, as the whole reason he has a vendetta against M.I.L.F is because they were unreliable to him, with the most notable example being that Captain Property Damage didn’t RSVP to his 26th birthday. That, combined with his unique stealth abilities and his very high I.Q make him a formidable adversary that is quite difficult to take down.
However, throughout the course of the video, his softer side is slowly but surely revealed, with him actually being a legitimately affable and caring person who shows genuine respect for his enemies. Examples include him complementing Green Screen’s concept and design, releasing Camera Man’s girlfriend after his henchmen are defeated and him willingly accepting death and letting go all ill will towards M.I.L.F after Green Screen kicked his one weakness unique to him; his balls. Also, despite being a supervillain, he never truly seeks to cause harm, with most of his “villainy” being a minor inconvenience at best, and mostly harmless kidnapping at worst.
Overall, despite being a card-carrying supervillain who commits enough crimes and is competent enough to be an actual threat, his affable nature and good side is far more prominent than his legitimately villainous side, making him a worthy opponent for M.I.L.F to deal with.
