Going somewhere, traitor?
~ Captain Yarri challenging Lord Scourge.
You come into our citadel, push us around. Now you want me to beg for my life? Shall we find out if you are as quick with that saber when your opponent is armed?
~ Captain Yarri futility threatening Bao-Dur.

Captain Yarri is a supporting antagonist in the 2017 film Star Wars Knights of the Old Republic: Knights and the Darkness Part II and a major antagonist in the 2021 series Star Wars Knights of the Old Republic III: Shadow of the Sith.

She was the former captain of Sith Emperor Vitiate's Imperial Guard, who later served Bao-Dur and the True Sith Empire after Vitiate's death, wielding the Darksaber and leading a group of Mandalorians loyal to the Sith.

She is voiced by Christina Nicholls, who also voiced Bastila Shan in the same series.

Biography[]

Star Wars Knights of the Old Republic: Knights and Darkness Part II[]

She was present when Lord Scourge sought to gain an audience with Emperor Vitiate, warning him about wasting the Emperor's time, before agreeing to help Scourge deal with the traitorous Darth Nyriss.

Later, Nyriss and the rest of the Imperial Guard battled against Scourge, who betrayed Vitiate, alongside Revan and Meetra Surik. Yarri was ultimately slain by Scourge himself, although this was all a Force vision witnessed by Meetra Surik before the group went to assassinate the Emperor.

Star Wars Knights of the Old Republic III: Shadow of the Sith[]

After Revan and Meetra Surik escaped Dromund Kaas, Captain Yarri informed Emperor Vitiate about their escape, and the death of Lord Scourge, who had betrayed the Empire. As they discussed their future plans, they were interrupted by Kaizen Drackmoor who brought a group of True Sith cultists to usurp Vitiate. The Emperor was then killed by Bao-Dur, Scourge's apprentice, who assumed the mantle of Sith Emperor. Yarri was forced to join this new empire.

Later, Yarri went with Drackmoor to Nar Shaddaa after the mercenaries they hired failed to kill Bacari, a rogue slave who escaped their clutches. Yarri then reported back to Bao-Dur alongside Drackmoor and the Mandalorian Gravik Spar.

Trivia[]

  • Unlike Star Wars Legends, this version of Captain Yarri was never brainwashed by Vitiate, and has retained her free will.
