Carla Riddlesohn, originally known as Carla Prescott and also known as Ghostface or the Second Killer, is a major antagonist of the Scream franchise, appearing in it's fanfilms. She is one of the two main antagonists (along with Michael Hexer) of the 2022 horror fanfilm Scream: Revived, a posthumous antagonist of The Biggest Scream Ever and of the final fanfilm Scream: The Final Act, and the posthumous overarching antagonist of Scream Queens.
She is the obsessive former love interest turned arch-nemesis of Daniel Drakes, and an enemy for both Randall Drakes and Talia Makarov. She is also the partner in crime and cousin of Michael, the sister of Ben Prescott and ultimately the daughter of Sidney Prescott. She plans on helping her cousin become a superstar in Richie's planned requel, as in return she will become Daniel's love interest by force.
She is portrayed by lilliana Reid.
History[]
Carla was the secretly obsessive love interest of Daniel "Danny" Drakes, who was warned by her older cousin Michael Hexer that Daniel would one day find another love interest. Out of fear to lose him and rage on him and their friends, Carla and Michael devise a plan in which they would get dressed up as Ghostface killers, and after getting rid of Daniel, Randall and the other protagonists, Carla would live a happy life with Daniel or kill him if it doesn't work, and Michael would become a film star in Richie's planned requel.
The two of them started a killing spree, and while she was dating Daniel in her apartment, Michael phoned Daniel and according to their plan, he asked what his favourite scary movie is. Knowing that there is a killer inside the house, Daniel ran towards the house's exit along with Carla. By the time they came through the lounge of the house towards the exit, they've found out that Ghostface (secretly Michael) has already killed her father. Because of this, she broke up with Daniel on the phone, but her real reason was because she was mad at him as she suspected he would really cheat on her with his acquaintance Talia Makarov.
After they've broke up, Talia eventually became Daniel's new girlfriend. The friends met in the park during the following day, and they've discussed matters of how to stop the killing spree, as they've all decided to hunt the Ghostface killer down.
Carla pretended to assist them throughout their journey, but she at one point secretly dressed herself up as Ghostface while Michael was in the toilet, and she attempted to kill Randall, who escaped from her and later also from Michael, who also put on his costume a few moments later.
Carla then returned to her normal state, and she hosted a party in her house, thus inviting all of her friends, including Daniel and even Randall.
Randall then realized that the killer was no other than her cousin Michael. At first, Michael pretended to not be the killer, but he did confess as their conversation continued, and he killed John by throwing a knife at his face. He was the first killer, however, when Carla and the protagonists ran away from him, she pretended to be scared and asked Daniel for a hug to calm her down. When Daniel hugged her, she surprisingly stabbed him with a knife, before she confessed her involvement in the scheme and she was revealed to be the second Ghostface killer.
She revealed that out of obsession and "love" towards Daniel she was afraid to loose him as Michael always told her that he would eventually find another girl and cheat on her. As a result, she joined his scheme and became a killer like him, so they could achieve their own two goals.
After the confession, her cousin enters the scene and tells them about his own goal of becoming a film star in Richie's unfinished requel. Daniel helps the protagonists escape by pointing a gun at the two killers and telling them not to move forward.
However, Carla throws a knife at Jessica, who doesn't escape on time and therefore she dies. Carla then sends her cousin off to look for Daniel and his two allies. However, the protagonists defeat Michael, and Carla then throws a knife at Daniel, before she enters the scene. Out of rage and fear of loosing him, she confesses that it's a sad ending for her, but she still has to kill him if he doesn't let her be his love interest. He then draws his gun out of his pocket and he shoots Carla twice, killing her brutally. Once Carla dies, the protagonists celebrate but all of a sudden, Daniel falls on the floor and after telling Talia how much he loves her and asking her to look after Randall for him, he also dies.
Personality[]
Carla is an obsessive teenage girl who only cares about her own relationship with Daniel, and fears that in any way possible he could cheat on her. They break up on the phone cause she gets mad at him, but on the other hand, she becomes jealous of Talia and becomes her big time enemy.
Carla pretends to be supportive and innocent, but it is revealed near the end that she's a hypocritical and merciless brat. She murders people out of obsession with Daniel and she even tries to kill him for not loving her back.
