Carlis Caillou is the main antagonist of Caillou Gets Grounded The Movie 2.
Carlis use to be just any other kid until his demons took over after Caillou showed him a childhood video of how harshly Boris treated him as a child, and thus he becomes the successor to Boris's legacy of creating an America that values discipline and punishment above all else.
He is voiced by Eric, who also voices Boris.
Personality[]
Carlis was once a kind and caring kid of Caillou's all until he watched an old childhood video of Caillou and his father Boris and thought to himself that what Boris was doing was justified which caused an argument between himself and his father.
Ever since the argument his personality was corrupted by his demons and now he had begun spouting the beliefs of his grandfather Boris.
Biography (Summary)[]
Carlis was born before his brother Carter as the two sons and father Caillou used to bond over everything, an example of this is when we see Carlis and Carter arguing over the slide. Carlis apologizes for getting mad at Carter and Caillou tells him to use this as a learning experience. Caillou then throws an ice cream on him as a "punishment" and the two are seen laughing as Carter asks why he doesn't get any punishments. It’s explained that punishments are bad, but the two continue to laugh as Caillou claims he’s crying. We then fast forward to five years later where Carlis and Carter now attend the same school known as “Caillou Elementary” and the two are shocked to see each other but soon walk to their classes. We then see Carlis and Mr. Honest in an investigation to see if anything at home is going on with Carlis and that it would be kept private with his father if he believes something serious is going on at home. Carlis answers he’s fine and then we cut to the house where Carlis is asking Carter about his homework. The homework had to do with science and he asks Carter about him believing the answer to the question is wrong, as he believes the earth is flat and not round. The two have an argument and it’s when Carlis’ cracks really start to show. He then talks to his dad about the question and how everyone at school makes fun of him for believing the earth is flat. Carlis then believes he has self esteem issues after Caillou brings it up when Carlis says he thinks he’s smarter than everyone but at the same time feels dumb in front of them. He also calls his friends the r slur which angers Caillou for a bit.
Carlis then says he does have one genuine friend but they agree on everything and he doesn’t like the fact they don’t debate each other. Caillou then gives him life advice and says that he will have that one friend who will stick by him no matter what, and it’s important to keep that friend around, Caillou then hugs Carlis and tells him he loves him. Carlis then notices his dad finds a tape, one that contains his memories of him and Boris when Caillou was growing up and despite being too young to watch it, Carlis wants to see it to feel better about himself. The two sit on the couch and Carter comes by and asks his dad to watch the video because Carlis is, Caillou objects at first but eventually gives in. As the kids are watching the tape, Carlis gets an idea that he promised he wouldn’t get before, when he hears Boris on the tape say something about Caillou not looking both ways before crossing the street. He believes this is a fair way of receiving a punishment because of the impact of the car. Carlis goes on to say that he wished he was punished as a kid like Caillou was growing up, because he thinks a life without punishment and discipline is absurd. He then believes that Caillou is a bad father to him because of that, and then decides to give himself a punishment day because of what he believed to miss out on as a kid. Caillou tries to stop him but he still insists and then shuts the door behind him and punishes himself with a chainsaw. The next morning Carlis states it was the most amazing feeling in his entire life.
Carlis and Carter also have a talk on the couch, Carter asks him if he ever dated anybody and he started getting dates following the events of last night. He brags about going out with several women and reveals he chopped his dick off. Carlis then debates Carter about toxic relationships with women and sexual things about them. He almost makes Carter throw up during the discussion which prompts Caillou to call an ambulance. Carlis is soon taken to the hospital and throws a tantrum believing the doctors have no authority over him. We cut to the school and the teacher is talking about the ongoing Boris Land Cult situation in Arizona. The school reveals shelter drills will soon take place, but Carlis believes they should listen to them and submit to repent for their sins because of their “pure intentions” being to better everyone in the world. A student then calls him out on supporting fascism and he says he’s speaking his opinion out. He then starts debating the class on this, justifying the murders and the teacher continues his lesson. Carlis is then shown watching the news on the situation and he agrees with everything that’s being said about how Boris intended to take over the world to get parents to think twice about the way they raise their kids. Caillou and Carlis are shown arguing when Caillou tells him to think for himself, with Carlis saying that’s what got Caillou’s father killed. The two go back and forth, but what causes Caillou to snap is when Carlis wishes death upon Caillou, he throws the tv and then hits Carlis, saying he deserves a lot more. This shows that Carlis’ demons from Boris got to him. Caillou tries to talk to him, but he blows him off claiming he’ll release his demons.
Back in school, the students are shown practicing the drills for the Boris Land Cult, Carlis asks about what will really protect them if shooters enter the building. He starts debating his teacher and claims he’s the only one with common sense in the room, and still goes on to defend Boris’ actions from the previous movie. He still debates the class on Boris’ style of discipline and says without punishments, the worst decisions are made. He debates the students on their worst moments such as running over a squirrel with a bike and breaking into a house to pet a cat. He then asks the teacher about his worst moment, and he says he accidentally gave his mom too much medicine. The class is dismissed and Carlis goes home. Caillou for the first time in his life grounds Carlis by rewarding him with video games, after he sees all the weapons on his wall. The next day, he orders the class to kill his own father, and they agree to it, and also agrees to every word he said the day prior. Carlis’ teacher is then shown that night outside with a sniper ready to kill him, until Mr. Honest comes in and beats him. The only reason the teacher is doing this is to save himself from Boris. Carlis is then brought outside with Caillou and Mr. Honest to interrogate him. During the interrogation it is soon revealed Carlis doesn’t remember him being hit by his dad, who was also going to cut his eyes out. The demon then shows Caillou how Carlis would react had he not been possessed by him and he gets knocked out.
Caillou then calls Carlis and tells them he’ll keep him out of school, where the students are holding a staff member hostage and blackmails him into giving Carlis’ address. They almost kill him, but leave to go to Carlis’ house. With the Boris Land Cult targeting Caillou’s family, the boys show up at the house looking for Carlis and almost kill Caillou, but they run away when their bullets have been revoked. The Boris Land Cult members go and fight Caillou, Carter, and Mr. Honest and one of them goes inside to get Carlis. He soon becomes the leader of the Boris cult and gets ready for business. After a dream Caillou had while asleep at the bar where Carlis shoots him, it’s soon revealed once he wakes up what that “business” was, making the world feel their wrath on their way to Washington DC. Carlis then decides to give the world a punishment day instead of a simple grounding of the Earth. He starts by destroying a Chuck E Cheese stating anyone who will enter will burn and die, he then cuts the world’s allowance and destroys the bank, getting every staff member fired. He then explodes the buildings of Netflix, Hulu, and Disney+ cutting down on the world’s streaming services, he then blows up a police station, a hospital, and a government building. He then frees prisoners who cause chaos and states the final punishment will be death if they don’t join the cult, giving them til the end of the year to choose their fate.
Carlis then goes and lands the helicopter, he finds a guy who’s in contact with the United States president, he gives him the number and then quickly holds him hostage, giving him the choice to die or join them. He then kills him because he didn’t know who he was and flies away. Him and a Boris Land Cult member then make a call to Joe Biden, and during the call Joe is shown to not be intimidated by their threat to make him surrender his position. They decide to go for invading the White House, saying if they lose they lose. After Carter manages to take down a helicopter full of Boris Land Cult members, Carlis and another member hold a government agent hostage, demanding to know Joe Biden’s secrets. The agent asks for Carlis to shoot him, not scared of him at all, which results in his death as well. They almost arrive at the White House and senses that the member with him is displaying weakness, he explains that’s not a good sign for a demonic figure. The two are shown arguing about their fears and weaknesses, the conversation ends with Carlis telling him to shut up. They land the helicopter, and say that he lost trust in him, and he doesn’t want him to say or do anything unless instructed to do so.
At the White House, Carlis gets shot at but dodges every bullet fired at him and even knocks out two of the guards. He manages to shoot more of the guards and clear the president’s door, and he and the Boris Land Cult member break in. They confront Joe Biden, demanding to give them his office or else they’ll kill him. They get trapped behind a glass wall that’s bullet proof, failing to kill him, Carlis then says for him to send all his men here. Joe Biden then says they’ll stay right where they are and won’t move until Caillou arrives. Carlis demands to know when both him and Carter are coming, and says he’ll kill them right in front of Joe Biden. He then decides to experiment on the Boris Land Cult member for failing him, deciding to get rid of his demons by cutting his eyes off. Carter and Mr. Honest soon reunites with Carlis, stating how much Carter wants Carlis back the way he initially was. He then goes to show him the Boris Land Cult member with his eyes cut off. Carlis then mocks Carter for not wanting to fight him, which prompts him to quickly fight both him and Mr. Honest.
Carlis says he doesn’t want Mr. Honest here, and then Mr. Honest mocks him and the two start fighting to a point where Carlis is knocked down. Carter holds him into place and Mr. Honest gets ready to cut his eyes off. Carlis fights back and runs away, but Mr. Honest throws his stick and it boomerangs onto Carlis, Carter goes and picks it up and starts beating him with it. Carlis and Carter go back and forth stating he won’t back down until he gets to fight his dad, and then he goes after them and the two continue to fight. The two go out of the room and onto the stairs, where Carlis throws him down them, as he becomes more powerful every second. Mr. Honest appears and makes Carlis fall down the stairs as well, stating they must act quickly before Carlis’ powers regenerate. Caillou soon comes in, and states he’s going to kill Carlis, and that it’s far too late for Carlis to revert back to his normal self. Caillou confirms that the demons did take over him, and Carlis says he wasn’t a liar after all. Caillou and Carter then have a talk about what’s going to happen to Carlis, and he lets Caillou kill Carlis, but before he does he states he loves his children. Caillou and Carter then have a fight as Caillou is about to kill him, but it’s unclear why, Caillou soon grabs Carter’s stick but can’t seem to do it. Carter then throws the stick right at Carlis’ head, and he is confirmed to be dead.
