Cletus Cortland Kasady and the Carnage Symbiote, collectively known is Carnage, is one of the two titular villainous protagonists of the DEATH BATTLE episode, "Carnage VS Lucy". He is a sadistic superpowered serial killer bent on murdering anyone he comes across. He is Lucy's arch nemesis.

He was voiced by Christopher Guerrero, who also voiced Gaara, Bane, and Sabrewulf.

Personality

Carnage is a simple-minded, almost feral killer who enjoys tormenting and murdering whoever he comes across. He is also shown to have a sadistic sense of humor, as he responds to Lucy's "Die" with "Not yet!" as he regenerates, and sings a twisted version of "It's raining" when he makes minors cuts onto Lucy.

History

Carnage is seen murdering several people on a train before noticing Nyu. When he sees her, he lunges at her, yelling "RUN!" However, Nyu adopts her normal Lucy personality, grabs him in mid air with her vectors and immediately cuts him apart. However, thanks to his regeneration, Carnage lives and continues to attempt to kill Lucy, to no avail, thanks to Lucy's vectors blocking every one of his attacks. Lucy's own efforts also prove useless, as Carnage regenerates from all of the damage she inflicts onto him. Carnage eventually tries being sneaky, followed by him throwing pillars at Lucy, which she blocks. Carnage then shoots blood spikes at Lucy, with most of them being blocked, but a few do cut her legs, prompting Lucy to cut him apart once more and throw him back at the train. Cletus then attempts to catch Lucy with his tendrils, all which get cut away and avoided. Eventually, Lucy has had enough and pins Carnage down, then using her 4th frequency vectors to disintegrate Carnage in an almost nuclear-sized explosion, leaving Lucy the winner, with nothing of Cletus or the Symbiote left.
