~ Panda to the contestants, revealing a little bit of her motives

Animals are common in many settings, whether they be true animals or anthropomorphic characters: a true animal villain is not really evil, but rather guided by instinct or hunger, while some who display humanly features may be more clever and malicious. Animal villains can also be predators, such as tigers, foxes, bears, sharks, and snakes.

Aside modern-day animals, creatures from the prehistoric era such as dinosaurs, flying reptiles, etc. can also be animal villains in fiction where they appear.

However, anthropomorphic animal villains are usually the direct opposite and are guided by human emotions and ideals.

Some of these animals may be pets of another character, including other villains.
