Villainous individuals who has a super high intelligence and choose for use their gifts for evil rather than good. They are basically the Doctors and Scientists and Mastermind archetypes. They are also the villainous counterparts to Heroic Geniuses.

However, not every genius is automatically a brilliant person (or not as much as they think they are). The key difference between a mastermind and a genius is that a genius will have the knowledge to do amazing things with their resources and whatnot for their nefarious purposes, but a mastermind will be able to apply any form of knowledge and logic they have with ease, done for a understandable motive and are rarely wrong about their beliefs and actions despite being evil.

These villains showcase that even the smartest of villains can potentially have cruical flaws that are detrimental and can make them fallible enough to give a shade of imperfection into their character, such as being being too childish, too incompetent, being too crazy, too obsessive or even too absent-minded for their own good.

Note: Please do not add if under Mastermind as it is the step below and it is redundant. Especially since it's also possible for this category to overlap with the Dimwits category if these villains happen to be dimwitted in areas like social skills for example despite being smart in many other areas.
