Gangs tend to be groups of young or inexperienced people who engage in illegal activities. Some street-gangs are infamous enough to be known internationally (such as the real-life gangs Crips and Bloods); many are more local. All have the potential to do harm to their local communities, though they are sometimes idolized by certain subcultures.
