♫ Up and down on the Merry-Go-Round, Worlds on an empty page I will write! ♫

Nah, we're not taking it over, we're remaking it! Destroy it all and start from anew! Think of it. Lava rain, fire plants, endless fire fish for blazer, isn't it great?
~ Pride’s plan to remake earth in hell’s image.
I am.. a wrathful monarch, and I will do anything to rebuild this piece of evil.
~ Sunessa's most famous quote.

A Harbinger for Rebirth is a subcategory of Cataclysms and Harbingers in which the Villain is not content with just destroying an entire world, universe or realm but to "revitalize" it (i.e., to have a "fresh start"). They usually believe that humanity as a whole is beyond redemption and thus deserves nothing but destruction. These Villains overlap with Nihilists and Social Darwinists due to their oft-shared beliefs of destroying a general area and remaking it entirely in their own images.

The motives for initiating rebirth are far and wide such as obtaining absolute power or molding something in their own images and their own liking, dooming any species for all time (Executor) or a twisted hope for or shot at redemption (Entity 303).
