Villains who deliberately spoils the enjoyment of others through resentful, sadistic or overly sober behavior.

They come in three varieties:

• Villains who gain pleasure or satisfaction from ruining other people's fun. They obviously overlap with Sadists, and due to the immature nature of their villainy, are probably Manchildren, Laughably Evil and / or Mischievous. They are almost always Chaotic Neutral or Evil, and are usually Hypocrites (as they love ruining other people's fun, but would go hysterical if somebody did it to them). Albert Aretz is a good example.
• Villains who are obsessed with rules and regulations and obstruct others' fun to preserve order or safety. They overlap with Control Freaks, and depending on how strictly they punish rulebreakers, may overlap with Disciplinarians or Totalitarians. This type of villain is very common in kids' media. As their intentions are often benign, they may fall under Well-Intentioned Extremists, Necessary Evil, and / or Villains by Proxy (or under Delusional if only they see themselves as helpful). They are usually Lawful Neutral. A good example is Slogo.
• Villains who are full of resentment or spite at other people having fun and sabotage them. They overlap with Envious and Antisocial. They may be Insecure and even Delusional if they blame others for their own problems. They also can be Traitors or Abusers depending on who they victimise.
