Misandrists are villains who hate men and subject them to abuse and violence. It can be physical or emotional abuse specifically towards men, or it may be a deep-rooted prejudice against equal rights. Like Misogyny may see girls and women as evil, Misandry may see men and boys as evil, if not, worse. Their hatred of males can take many forms, ranging from similar sexism to outright murder and even, in extreme scenarios, attempted genocide. It is also possible for them to be perverts, rapists, black widows, etc.

The extreme and villainous variation of Feminists (although technically misandry opposes feminism, which advocates for gender equality), misandrists are male-hating villains, much like Misogynists are female-hating. Although definitely not as common, they do exist and are often violent extremists.

While most misandrists are villainesses due to them being the opposite gender, there are examples of males hating other males while considering themselves the exception. If so, they contradict the hatred they announce and also qualify as Hypocrites. They can even be both a misogynist and a misandrist at the same time on rare occasions.

Important Notes[]

• A villain who keeps harming men or a man repeatedly for reasons other than gender does not make them a misandrist. Remember, they should only count if they harm man for their gender.
• A villain who just hates humanity as a whole is not a misogynist either and should go into Misanthropes instead. However, a misanthrope can still be a misandrist if they harbor a special hatred, disdain or mistreat for men.
• Magnificent Baddies can never be Misogynists nor Misandrists, because hating people because of their gender is inherently unjust. This doesn't mean their sexism can come from a sympathetic cause, but it will make audiences dislike them more.
• Due to obvious reasons, they are xenophobes as they discriminate others.
