Power Hungry (sometimes spelled Power-Hungry) villains who are seek to rule with sheer force or whose main goals are to obtain more powers, be they political powers, superpowers, magical powers, etc to accomplish any goal they set out.

Some of them could be Insecure if they used to get picked on for being weak, but that's not always the case.
