Sentient Weapons, Living Weapons or Weapons of Mass Destruction are a staple of many forms of fiction to the point of deserving special recognitions. They range from fantasy to sci-fi genres and even theoretical science. They vary in levels of true sentience as well but must function on a level of self-awareness beyond typical Robots or Golems (as in having some form of free will) to classify for this category.

Also, to keep this separate from Artificial Intelligences try to limit characters here to those labeled Weapons or with some kind of military (or equivalent) backstory/origin.
