Stranglers are villains known to kill via using either their own bare hands or via the use of equipment that chokes a victim to death - they are very common archetypes and are often inspired by infamous real-life killers, many Stranglers are often sadistic by nature as they enjoy killing on a more "personal" level but some simply strangle victims without an empathise on sadism (for example, Lynch Mobs that hang their victims do so out of vigilantism or xenophobia).
