Catrina the Enchantress is one of the secondary antagonists of My Little Pony: Age of Equestria 2: A New Generation created by MelSpyRose. She is based on her My Little Pony G1 counterpart. This version of Catrina is portrayed as a seductive enchantress who has lived for hundreds of years by using her staff to make herself young and beautiful. Like her G1 counterpart, she enslaved the Bushwoolies and is addicted to her Witchweed Potion.
Backstory[]
Catrina started off as a seductress in Abyssinia where she married Pharaoh Amenhotep before she killed her first husband in order to inherit her wealth. She lied to everyone that her husband had been killed by an assassin before she would eventually go deep into Panthera where she had found a staff that can grant eternal life and beauty. Catrina stole the staff from its sacred resting place before she became known as Catrina the Enchantress. Catrina spent centuries seducing males, marrying the rich and powerful before eventually killing every single one of them in order to steal their wealth and power. Catrina eventually got exiled when Princess Celestia heard of her crimes. Catrina eventually got pregnant before she abandoned her firstborn child in Klugetown before she disappeared for hundreds of years before she would eventually come back and came across the Village of Moonwick where she enslaved its inhabitants, the Bushwoolies. When they escaped from her mines, Catrina met her new henchman named, Rep, before the two would end up dating each other only for Catrina to break up with Rep after she became addicted to the Witchweed Potion. Eventually, Catrina went to the Castle of Midnight where she met Lord Tirek and became attracted to him. After joining Tirek's Legion of Doom, Catrina would attempt to seduce Tirek in order to kill him and take over the Castle of Midnight. A few days later, Catrina became Tirek's girlfriend and the two would date each other and Catrina encouraged her new boyfriend to use the Rainbow of Darkness to disguise himself as a pony in order to steal the Book of the Dead from the Canterlot Archives.
