The Cave Tubby is a supporting antagonist in the Slendytubbies series.
He, Arrow Tubby and Yeti Tubby were all formerly experiments of the Coat Men, who were mutated into bloodthirsty monsters by the same virus that Noo-Noo later used to create the other Reborns. The Guardian encounters him in the Cave between Tubbyland and the Outskirts.
Appearance[]
The Cave Tubby is a brown teletubby with small, blank white eyes and a crucifix-shaped antenna. After being mutated, he is now much larger and more muscular. with significantly longer arms. His left arm is stripped of skin, and is missing its hand. His jaw is wide and hangs open, with no teeth, and he has a large hole in the left side of his face, with his eye hanging out.
Biography[]
The Cave Tubby was an experiment of the Coat Men alongside the Yeti Tubby and Arrow Tubby. The Coat Men were presumably humans who created he three as the first Teletubbies, though did not give them names. Eventually the three became infected, and possibly killed the Coat Men. They later got separated, with the Cave Tubby ending up in the Caves.
After fleeing from a mutated Tinky Winky, the player has a choice to make The Guardian escape Tubbyland through either the Caves or the Mountains. As he wanders through the maze-like tunnels, he finds several discarded notes one of the three subjects had written about their past. Soon he encounters the Cave Tubby, who gives chase, but stops after The Guardian jumps over a pit of rock spikes.
Before leaving the Caves, the Cave Tubby catches up and gives chase one last time, and the player must complete a short series of quick time events to avoid him. The Guardian then finds another exit and escapes through it, leaving the Cave Tubby behind.
If Laa-Laa had escaped during the prologue, The Guardian will find her in the Outskirts, where she'll mention that she also fled Tubbyland through the Caves, and was chased by the Cave Tubby in the process.
Cave Tubby serves as the main threat in the Caves in both Collect and Versus modes. He will wander the area near the custard closest to the player, and will move to the next once the custard is collected. He will give chase if he sees the player, and won't stop until he either kills them, or they get a far enough distance away from him. If the player gets too close, he will quickly attack, damaging every player in his range. He is one of the most dangerous enemies due to the speed of his attacks and the dark, cramped area he's in.
In Survival mode, pre-mutated Cave Tubby is the boss of the Custard Facility at dusk, and his mutated form is the boss of the Caves. Both forms have 11560 heath and deal 60 damage per hit. They also both have the same special ability; Rock Smash, in which he smashes the ground and causes a trail of large, sharp rocks to emerge. This attack can phase through obstacles and will deal damage repeatedly on contact.

- Cave Tubby is possibly the tubby who gets sick with an unknown disease mentioned in the Caves' notes, explaining his distorted face.
- He is the only Reborn tubby to have the same peach-colored face and inner ears that regular tubbies have, rather than being white or light gray.
- He was mistaken for Po in Slendytubbies 2D, due to the blood covering his body making it look like he has red fur like her.
- He is one of the only bosses in survival mode to have only one special attack.
- He is the only Reborn to attack with his left arm.
