Cell is the final antagonist of Dragon Ball Z Abridged, serving as the main antagonist of Season 3. He is also the main protagonist of the spin-off series Cell Vs. and HFIL.
He is voiced by Curtis "Takahata101" Arnott, who also voices Deadpool in DEATH BATTLE and Alucard in Hellsing Ultimate Abridged, as well as Super Kami Guru and Nappa in the same series.
Personality[]
Much like his canon counterpart, this version of Cell has a love for fighting. Cell also loves to make a lot of innuendos to the point where the rest of the cast come to expect such out of him. He also is shown to enjoy singing. Upon reaching his perfect form, he makes a tune to go along with his successful transformation, and when he gets killed, he goes out singing Frank Sinatra.
He has a habit of appearing affable while drinking people en masse and blowing up entire cities with dissonant serenity. Other times, he breaks his affable demeanor and blows up cities in a rage. Ultimately, he attempted to annihilate the Earth in his final outburst.
Biography[]
Entrance[]
Cell was created by Dr. Gero with the intent to kill Goku. However, he was still imperfect as he needed 17 and 18 to complete his change. Upon meeting Piccolo, he gives himself the name Cell. After escaping, he goes on to absorb more people before finding Piccolo again with the cyborgs.
Having grown stronger, Cell defeats Piccolo and attempts to absorb 17 only to be stopped by 16 he can detect the percentage of Goku in his DNA, tearing his tail off.
Cell grows it back thanks to Piccolo's cells, and he eventually manages to absorb both 17 and 18.
Afterward, he announces the Cell Games to be held within a week.
Cell Vs.[]
While waiting for the day of the Cell games, Cell finds himself getting a visit from people earlier than anticipated, starting with Yusuke Urameshi and Kazuma Kuwabara. After they present their powers to him, he asks them if their powers can blow up the planet, prompting them to leave.
Later, Cell gets a visit from Yugi who challenges him to a card game. After reading the rules, Cell point out how every card Yugi attempts to play is tournament banned, getting Yugi to rage quit.
Ryu, Ken, Sonic and Knuckles eventually arrive to actually fight, but are easily bested.
Then Cell gets a visit from Kenshiro who delivers a flurry of punches. At first, Cell makes nothing of it, but then his upper half explodes, infuriating him into threatening to kill Kenshiro. He explodes again before he can and Kenshiro assumingly left afterward, leaving Cell to regenerate.
When Light Yagami arrives, Cell is more on guard. After Light writes Cell's name in the death note, he expects cell to die. However, due to cell having multiple hearts, all Light succeeded in doing was stopping a single heart prompting Cell to kill him.
He then gets a visit from Saitama who makes it clear he intends to punch him. After knocking Genos into a mountain, Cell and Saitama share a laugh before Cell asks if Saitama is going to make good on his word. Saitama tells him that he'll wait for the tournament, much to Cell's relief to meet somebody who would follow the rules he set, only to be disappointed when Saitama finds out the tournament is on a bargain day when he needs to do grocery shopping.
In Kai abridged, Alucard arrives and asks Cell if the versus videos are still being done. When Cell tells him no, Alucard leaves without question.

With the day having finally arrived, Cell gets ready for the arrival of the Z fighters when a camera crew arrive with Mr. Satan. Hearing Mr. Satan's boast gets Cell to instantly regret making the Cell Games an open invite.
As the intended roster arrives, Cell is prepared to fight the Z fighters before Mr. Satan insists on going first before another group show up with intent on fighting Cell too. Not wanting to deal with anymore unneeded nuisances, Cell blows them up and then knocks Mr. Satan into a mountain before he and Goku square off.
The fight between him and Goku get him excited, but he becomes infuriated when Goku forfeits and sends out Gohan. At first, Cell is offended, but when he hears about Gohan's power, he becomes intrigued enough to try and force it out of him. When torturing the half-saiyan doesn't get him to snap, he threatens to kill him loved ones before 16 intervenes with intent to blow Cell up. Unfortunately, Bulma took 16's bomb out, allowing Cell to destroy his body. He then decides to create some kids of his own (names being Norio, Dameon, Travis, Curtis, Dale, Jonathan, and Vegeta Jr. Jr.) and have them fight the Z fighters.
When that doesn't get Gohan to crack, Cell gets fed up and decides to have his kids kill the fighters so he can blow up the planet. Just then, 16 intervenes once again. Cell then silences him for good after the android delivers a speech tell Gohan to stop holding back. Upon which, Gohan lets loose and decimates Cell's kids, much to Cell's delight.
When Gohan turns his attention to Cell, the android is excited until Gohan punches him in the gut. The blow gets him to realize how outmatched he is that he decides to just end it with a kamehameha. his attack is only deflected back. He realizes he needs to calm down, but then Gohan calls him boring, prompting him to lose it again. This time, Gohan punches hard enough for Cell to regurgitate 18, reverting him back to semiperfect.
Cell then inflates to take the planet with him before Goku warps him to King Kai's planet. The explosion kills Goku, but Cell is restored to a form more powerful than his perfect form. He then makes another attempt to kill Gohan, but he is ultimately destroyed.
HFIL[]
Following his death, Cell waits an hour in line for judgement. Upon arriving, King Yemma looks over his sins and determines him to be a code orange, sending him to Hell, where he is transferred to an area made for sinners like him with high ki by Goz and Mez. There, Cell attempts to disintegrate the ogres with a ki blast only to find that he can't use his ki due to power inhibitor placed on his ankle. From there, Cell is forced to share a house with Raditz and Guru.
