Chacron is the central antagonist of the video game Chao Forever, based around the character of the same name who appears in Sonic Adventure and Sonic Adventure 2. He is the second-in-command of the Space Garden Society and Emmy's closest associate, though he pretends to be on the Chao Saving Society's side until the end of the game.
Biography[]
Chacron was at one point in his life one of the fastest Chao alive and was originally the champion of the Chao Stadium. However, once faster Chao started appearing, he eventually lost his title and got abandoned by his owner. Although he managed to settle down to a more low-profile life in Jungle Island, Chacron became to resent what was taken from him and insisted on getting revenge. Eventually, he received a letter from Emmy, a Chao he befriended in his younger years, who promised to help him get his revenge as long as he helped her with her plans.
Chacron introduces himself to the Chao Saving Society early on in the game, where he agrees to help the heroes get all the Chaos Emeralds by helping them reach each area by doing multiple things including travelling by boat and digging tunnels.
Once the group have collected six of the Chaos Emeralds and make it to the Space Garden, Chacron reveals that he tricked them into collecting the emeralds for the Space Garden Society. Chacron fights the heroes but is defeated and is swiftly arrested following Emmy's death.
In the post-epilogue sequence before the credits that take place several months after the final battle, it is revealed that Chao is in some sort of prison institution and has changed for the better.
Personality[]
Chacron is a smart but also very sneaky Chao who is not above tricking his enemies into thinking that he is on their side. Due to his deceiving nature, he is able to trick the Chao Saving Society into collecting the Chaos Emeralds for him instead of trying to take them from the heroes, something that even Emmy didn't think of doing.
In spite of this, he does have his positive traits, including his loyalty to Emmy, which in turn makes him one of the only people she genuinely cares for. He does also seem to have a few standards, as he is only willing to attack people who are clearly opposing his plans. He seems shocked when he finds out Emmy's final plan to destroy all Chao Gardens indicating that he did not know about it, though he still reluctantly went along with it anyway.
