Chaotix is an antagonist created and owned by averyavary and later owned by PUMPKINMANJACK who serves as the titular main antagonist of the Creepypasta Chaotix 0111.
He is the broken remnants of leftover code meant for Tails from the prototype version of Knuckles Chaotix. Having been abandoned in the game for years, Chaotix desperately searches for the other leftover remnant of Tails in order to become whole once more and fix himself, not realizing that he himself is Tails and the other remnant doesn't exist.

Appearance[]
Chaotix's default form appears as a lookalike of Knuckles the Echidna but with a few changes. For one, his fur is pink in color and one of his eyes is whited out. The crescent that would usually be present on Knuckles' chest is gone and his shoes are similar to that of Sonic's, except with a darker red color and lime green cuffs. His mouth also appears to be gone, although it is there, but he doesn't show it a lot. He's shown to have a gap in his teeth.
In his beast form, Chaotix appears as a light-grey entity with his dreadlocks turned upwards and colored black at the tips, a pattern that appears similar on his hands and tail, the latter of which is also longer. His whited out eye is gone, with the other being a pinkish-red with a yellow pupil. As well as that, his mouth is also constantly shown and his teeth are pinkish-red in color. Chaotix's gloves are pink with black fingers and his shoes appear inverted, both appearing as green, yellow, red and pink, and having different palettes.
On the other hand, mobians don't see Chaotix in any of his two forms: rather, they see his default form as Tails and his beast form as a black, glitching mess of pixels.
Personality[]
For the most part, Chaotix is relaxed, mellow and calm, appearing genuinely affable and able to engage in conversations with friends. He is also shown to be quite intelligent, being able to expertly blend in with most mobians and gain information from them with ease. At times, however, Chaotix can become ravenous, aggressive and ruthless. While not necessarily a villain, Chaotix will aggressively chase down other characters due to mistaking them for his lost half and turn them into his chaos servants upon seeing who they are.
Chaotix is primarily motivated by a deep-rooted obsession to become whole again. Having been separated from the remaining remnants of his code that would've made him a complete character, Chaotix is determined to pursue any leads that would lead him to his missing half so they could reunite and become whole again. However, Chaotix has yet to realize that this lost fragment doesn't exist, and that he himself is the remnant of Tails' code, and that the fragment he's searching for is merely lost code intended to act as a replacement for him. Because of his obsessive desires, Chaotix is a tragic figure who only seeks to reach his full potential and truly feel like the person he was meant to be.
He's especially enjoys the presence of Tails EXEs. He is also close friends with Wacky, at least in his base form. As in his X-32 state is basically aggressive to anything & everything, and ESPECIALLY Tails EXEs.
Biography[]
Early life[]
During the development of Knuckles Chaotix's prototype, Sonic Crackers, the character of Tails was eventually scrapped and left as broken data in the final release of Knuckles Chaotix. However, for some reason, there was a tiny portion of code that was still in the game, code that was would eventually end up as the glitch character Wechnia. Becoming sentient, the scrapped Tails data would vow to find the remaining data he believed to be Tails to become whole again, unaware that he was Tails and the lost data was only a minor fraction of his code.
Chaotix 0111[]
Eventually, one player in particular would end up in possession of the cartridge Chaotix resided in and managed to finish it to 100% completion. Afterwards, the player began messing around in the game trying to pull off some tricks until they eventually loaded up the Wechnia character. After selecting him, the player spawned in Botanic Base alongside another version of Knuckles who asked "Tails?" in a text box. Eventually, the player progressed and became stuck, and called on the assistance of their partner, only for it to fall on deaf ears as the screen glitches and a text box reading "Tails?" appears again. With the player only able to play with Knuckles, they continued through the game as it began to glitch and a voice echoed through the speakers, asking for Tails to respond. Eventually, the player stumbled upon Chaotix in his beast form as he towered over the player. Confusing them for Tails, Chaotix lunged at Knuckles as the screen crackled with horrible glitchy noises, ultimately ending up with the player kicking the console, turning the TV off.
Weeks later, the player returned to the console out of sheer curiosity and selected both the Wechnia character and Espio, loading into Amazing Area. Despite the Knuckles look-alike occasionally staring off, the player managed to complete the level just fine. Upon arriving at the light switch needed to continue the level, the player jumped on the switch, causing the TV to hiss with an electronic buzz. After everything had calmed down, the Knuckles look-alike was gone, but after the player continued to progress through the broken level, they found him again, turned away from them. As the player got closer, the Knuckles look-alike began pulling Espio closer with his bound ring. Although the player tried to make Espio move to the left and away from the Knuckles look-alike, he managed to reel him in and screeched at him, revealing his beast form and corrupting Espio into a mass of glitches as the screen began to glitch violently. Chaotix's face lit up the screen as his name appeared multiple times on a red background behind him, showing the player who he is as he shouted to know where Tails was before his voice was cut shut when the player turned the TV off.
After suffering several recurring dreams of Chaotix, the player went back into the game a third time to see what would occur if they selected Chaotix and another character they had already played as, proving to be fruitless as Knuckles and Espio were unavailable to be used. Seeing this, the player chose Vector and was thrust into Marina Madness, corrupted by endless glitches. Eventually, Chaotix stopped and began pulling against Vector, forcing the player to move Vector to the right in order to combat the Knuckles look-alike. Within a few seconds, the ring power holding the bound rings together snapped, sending Vector flying as the player got up and reversed his direction, narrowly avoiding Chaotix in his beast form as he taunted the player before the floor gave away, sending Vector tumbling down into the darkness before Chaotix captured and corrupted him. Before the player passed out, Chaotix lamented that while he would eventually find Tails one day, he was unsure as to when his location would be found.
The player once again would awake from a nightmare involving Chaotix lamenting about himself and why he is the way he is, causing the player to spend the day pondering over what the deal with the entity was. Eventually, the player decided to go back into the game once more and selected two different characters: Mighty and Charmy, and choosing Techno Tower as the level. As the player travelled through and eventually completed the heavily glitched and corrupted level, they tried to move Charmy past the goal post, only for Chaotix to call out where they thought they were going. In his beast form, Chaotix lunged at Mighty and grabbed him as the screen began to heavily distort once again until the game rebooted itself with none of the characters on the title screen to greet the player.
That night, the player was still awake and questioning what Chaotix was and why it wanted to find Tails, and restarted the console to see if anything would happen. In doing so, Chaotix eventually appeared and mentioned how his path to find answers lead to the corruption of the game world, showing regret for corrupting the characters and apologizing to Tails for failing him, with the player realizing that Chaotix only wanted to become whole again before the screen shut itself off. The player wondered where Chaotix would go now and if he'll ever become complete.

- Glitch physiology: Chaotix is a discarded entity that was never meant to be playable or even exist in the main game, therefore, he is a glitch-based entity that can use his unique physiology to his advantage.
- Corruption: Chaotix is able to corrupt entities into becoming his chaos servants: mindless minions of his that, much like him, are in desperate search for their lost code, not even remembering who they are.
- Data absorption: In his beast form, Chaotix can extract the data and code from other entities, presumably in order to gain more power or try to fix himself.
- Dream inducement: Chaotix can induce dreams into people who encounter him in the game, having been shown to do so to one of his victims, showing them a vision of Carnival Island.
- Glitching: Chaotix is capable of glitching the game in various ways, which works well for him due to himself being a sentient glitch in the game. Although the full extent of his glitching abilities is unknown, he is said to be able to corrupt and glitch data in the game, which is presumably how he's able to go about corrupting other entities and the world around him.
- Telepathic speaking: Chaotix can telepathically speak to the player in order to deliver subliminal messages and make them further succumb to his dread.
- Temporal reload: Chaotix can manipulate the save states in the game, allowing him to turn back time to earlier parts of the playthrough when the player had less or even no resources/progress made. He can also save over previous parts of the game and load them back up.
Abilities[]
- Stealth: Chaotix is able to expertly blend in with his surroundings and infiltrate areas with large gatherings of mobians, and uses it to his advantage to sneak around or gain intel on where he should be headed.
Weaknesses[]
- Composure: If a player is able to keep their cool and resist Chaotix's subliminal messages and dread, Chaotix won't have any power over them.
- Game inactivity: Similarly, Chaotix cannot reach the player if the game is turned off.
