Chara is the villainous main protagonist of Stronger than you-Chara's response, made by KANON,
Biography[]
She likely has the same backstory as the original version of Chara, which is as follows: Long ago, a human fell into the underground and was adopted by the Dreemurr family, and after an unknown amount of time, the human fell ill due to poisoning themselves with buttercup flowers. Dying and wanting their body in the flowers of the village they grew up in, Asriel, taking Chara's body to the village to do so, was also supposed to get 6 more human souls to break the barrier. But Asriel decided to flee, and they eventually turned to dust in the king's garden. Chara was eventually buried in the ruins, her spirit remaining dormant.
At some point, another human fell into the underground whose name was Frisk, They had the power to load and reset, They also eventually brought Chara back to life as a spirit through Frisk's determination. Frisk eventually started the genocide route after an unknown amount of time, and at some unknown point, Chara took control and finished the run themselves.
At the end of the song, it is very likely she killed Sans and succeeded in her goal of wiping every monster out, as she is still singing after the final “Stronger than you” line which always signifies the end of the song (fight).
Personality[]
While their personality in life is unknown, Chara in the song shows themselves to be evil and sadistic, mocking Sans endlessly on their dead brother and how he failed to stop them. Even noting near the end how they can tell that Sans is mentally unstable after everything Chara did and mocking him about how Sans can not beat them by saying “Tear us apart we'll come back again, destroying your chances left to win” and asking Sans if he can see his end.
Chara throughout the song displays zero remorse or care for anyone, not even seeming bothered by her past. Because while she says she fights for “vengeance”, it is very likely that this is only her being angry at Sans standing in her way. This is further proven by the fact that to fight sans, You would have to kill Toriel, and she is completely remorseless about it.
