Charles is the overarching antagonist of the song The End Of The Line created by The Stupendium and Dan Bull.
He is a sadistic, man eating sapient train who, after striking a deal with the Stationmaster and Conductor would proceed to have them hunt down prey for him so that he spares their lives and devours new prey.
Biography[]
While not much is said about his backstory, it is insinuated through lyrics from the Stationmaster and Conductor that he had seemingly been released by the two and, in order to preserve their lives, would start capturing innocent bystanders and feedng them to the monsterous train, with them apparently having fed a granny, a priest, a vicar a gracer and a postman in the past before arriving at their next victim. Having tied him up and left him on the side of the train station, Charles presumably comes and eats them after the Stationmaster and Conductor have already left.
