Chilli is an antagonist in Five Nights at Yoshi's. He is the last of the four animatronics built for the first local Yoshi's Pizza. He resides behind the curtain in Chili's Corner.
Unlike Scrappy, Yoshi, Daniel, and Onion, Chili was built after Yoshi's Pizza first opened. One employee thought that the Party Room area was a bit empty, and needed to be filled with something. Then, not a long amount of time later, he had the idea of adding one more animatronic in his own "mini-stage" (Chili's Corner) that did something other than singing, to add variety. Yoshi's Pizza got to work immediately on the idea. Chili was given a hyperactive/energetic joking personality, because the employee who came up with the idea was energetic himself.
Chili easily became a fan favorite with the kids, and when people requested more comedian-like animatronics in Yoshi's Pizza, Daniel was given a comedian role with Chili on certain days of the week.
Appearance[]
Chili is a dark-red Yoshi animatronic that has flame decorations on his chest and the side of his face, and also holds a almost sandy-red chili pepper with a green stem.
Biography[]
Chili generally starts on Night 2 and hides in Chili's Corner, specifically behind the purple cove. Chili has two positions once out of the cove (three in Five Nights at Yoshie's: Remastered) before making a dash towards the left side of your office. In Five Nights at Yoshie's, Chili always runs down the left hallway, but in Five Nights at Yoshie's: Remastered, Chili can sometimes enter the Party Room, which means he is one move away from running down the Right Hall. You'll know if Chili is running if you look at the Left or Right Hall and the camera has an error screen or is glitching horribly. Once this happens, immediately shut the corresponding door to avoid Chili dashing into the office and killing you. If Chili pounds on the door, that means Chili has returned to his corner.
