"Chinami Mikazuchi" is a supporting antagonist in Date A Re:Live. She is one of the Wizards and the new Adeptus 3 of Deus.Ex.Machina Industries once she joined Isaac Ray Peram Westcott's side to get her revenge and replace Minerva Liddell. She want avenge her Uncles who were accidentaly killed by her cousin Origami Tobiichi and Metatron during the Great Fire, 5 years prior the series.
Her hatred of Spirits stems from a Spirit who killed her uncles five years prior when it blasted her parents after they managed to escape their burning home. Due to this, she joined the DEM, in which she holds the rank of Adeptus 3, in an attempt to find the Spirit responsible her shot the light beam Angel and kill her.
Appearance[]
Chinami has been described with a bobcut colored golden brown and amber eyes. In her first appearance, she was dressed in a uniform for staff who work for the DEM subsidiary Cross Travel.
When equipped with her DEM CR-Unit <Arthur>, she wears dark-grey armor with X-shaped thrusters behind her back, displaying an overall thematic design that indicates resemblance to Ellen's CR-Unit <Pendragon>.
Personality[]
Chinami is a person who rarely openly talks with other people unless needed with only a few exceptions such as Isaac Westcott, Ellen Mira Mathers and Jessica Bailey. She is not a shy gal, but more of an unsocial type of person.
She can be a bit reckless or aggressive if she has a goal or purpose to fulfill; she's also willing to do something that someone else wouldn't do to accomplish such goals.
Due to a Spirit killing her uncles five years ago, Chinami has harbored an intense hatred and hostility towards all Spirits, as whenever she sees a Spirit, she loses all of her common sense and tries to kill it any way she possibly can. She has a stronger drive to defeat them than her DEM comrades, viewing it as both revenge and protecting other people from potentially suffering the same loss she experienced. This hatred is shown to be intense enough that she was willing to kill Origami despite the fact that she knew Origami was her cousin.

Chinami makes her debut snapping a picture of Shido; Mana; and the nine Spirits with them, Mana explains to Rinne that Chinami was the photographer sent by to travel agency on their trip when Tamae had made her introduction while at a vending machine.
However, Chinami had nasty plans for the Spirits as she seeks to render them as dust blown away at the wind before a trio of girls spot her. Chinami was only saved from a potential misfortune when an announcement was made to put the seats and tray tables in an upright position before landing.
After the landing Tohka was stating to feel that something was not feeling right as she was looking at the sky, but denies Chinami was what made her not feel right about it. In reality, it was the rebuilt and upgraded Arbitel that was looming over them.
Marina soon sends Chinami a message that the older-looking pink-haired Spirit is [Ruler] and Chinami noted that everyone is going to more on. As the situation regarding the Yamai twins is being placed under control, Chinami was raising an eyebrow at the sight of them holding onto Shido's arms claiming she does not wish to know.
At night, Chinami answered a call from her headset where she shows an image of the current [Berserk] who is in the form of two Spirits with the same power with the power of their Sephira Crystal being doubled. Chinami explains that she will carry the mission to kidnap Shido and kill the Spirits if they intervene.
Ellen however, points out it is she to deal with the [Berserk] twins. Chinami then asked for the Einhejar units to be readied before closing the connection.
Chapter 33[]
Inside the hallway when Kotori and Kurumi were heading to their room, Saya alongside the "talkative trio" drag them in as they were needing a couple extra people. When Chinami was about to have three of the units readied, she got hit with a pillow and was turning blue before being incapacitated by more pillows.
Later, when the Spirits were heading to where Shido and the twins were, Chinami was psying on them as she signals the Arbitel before getting swallowed by a pitfall by the "talkative trio" who found it hilarious and shaped the sand around her like a caterpillar with Chinami considering high school students a bigger danger than a Spirit.
As Chinami witnesses Shido and Tohka leave the hotel, she contacts the people on the Arbitel and learns some Einherjars were deployed and is asked to deal with the other Spirits in her Lancelot. As Origami witnessed the winds blowing while looking at fireflies, Chinami crosses paths with her with Origami being shocked at her allegiance with DEM.
Chinami charged forward as Origami readied her Astral Dress and defended herself against the attack with a hard battle coming. 10
